Flashers -REPLACEMENT

The turn signal flasher is usually located in the convenience center, under the dash, on the left side kick panel. In all cases, replacement is made by unplugging the old unit and plugging in a new one.

This tip may help if you want to temporarily operate the window before making a permanent repair. This generally works when you have a bad switch for the auto up-down function or you have a window motor that is just starting to act up.

Hi I had this happen last night but both of my headlights were out (one had been for a week but the other also went last night) I assumed it was to tell me there was a fault as it's stopped now I have replaced the headlight bulbs

It does not have one.

When I have had trouble bleeding systems...I have over come it by reverse bleeding. You buy a pump on container put it on the last bleed screw and flush the fluid back wards up out the resavor

check you alternator diode or you change the alternator complete

4 wheel neutral vehicle will not move that for towing or moving around --put in 2wh --4hi or if have 4low transfer case has to be in a setting to move

The MAF sensor is not the problem, these are cylinder misfires on #1,3 and 4. replace the #4 coil pack, #1 AND 4 use the same coil, replace the spark plugs and the wires.

Try replacing the spark plug wires set.

Sounds as if you have a bad switch (you say it felt funny) and these get so much use they do fail. Salvage yard may have this, or check with a parts store. Dealer will be expensive.

completely unrelated run the fault codes first then consider a problem heated oxygen sensor/s consider a blocked cat converter/s your stated average consumption is 20 mpg so you are either speeding or have a problem to start with That car should be around the 400 miles mark per tank

Rotation goes in a clockwise direction and the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 5 6 3 4 1 2 The Number one plug is first plug on Pass side looking at the engine # 2 is on driverside and so forth for all plugs.

Is this a manual or automatic, makes a big difference. Id it is a automatic the backup light switch is part of the range selector switch, if it is a manual it will be on the side of the transmission, I can show you both parts in pictures below. Do a tune up- spark plugs, wires , distributer cap, rotor, fuel filter and air filter

So to backtrack, did you check for compression on that cylinder, spark for the cylinder, and injector pulse before you replaced the parts ?

Only Ford products use an inertia switch for the fuel pump.

I have never seen a car with a drain plug in the gas tank.
