For many of the 90's and 2000's Toyota various models - Camry, Tacoma, 4 Runners, Corolla, and some other models it is usually caused by temperature sensitive fan switch on the radiator not operating. Electric fan on the radiator should operate when temp above 200 degrees. Less often the control relay 90987-03003 is defective. Check if bubbling in the radiator smells like exhaust. That would indicate a blown head gasket. A jumper wire from your marker light positive to the lower contact in the fan control relay socket will operate your fan when parking lights are on. The larger vehicles with more powerful radiator fans will need a hefty jumper from a headlight positive to avoid overheating the lighting wiring. Make sure the engine is off and warmed up to check the radiator core with your hand to see if it is getting circulation. If it is all cold the thermostat might be stuck.
Do you have a "Security" light anywhere on the dash? If so, when you change the battery, this activates the security feature. Try this: Cycle the key in the ignition on-off 5 times. This will deactivate the security system (if you do indeed have the Toyota system) Hope this works for you.
When the fuse blows figure out what you are doing, what switch is being pressed, then remove the needed panels to access the wiring to the switch and motor it operates, then you will find the damaged wiring and repair the short, no quick fix, just hard grunt work.

Insert the key and turn the lock cylinder while lifting up on the lift gate. You have to get the gate open. Once open, The strike plate (where the locking mechanism hits) is bolted to the jamb. Loosen the bolts and slightly move it toward the rear of the vehicle. NOT TOO MUCH!
Tighten the bolts, and try it. Hope this helps.
well if you can get behind climate control unit there are light bulb changing them ... as for your a/c recharged it again using put in some sealer 1st then Freon . if this fixes then stops working again then your leaking Freon will to get fixed by a/c shop???
When you said, the bleed valve had to be loosed before the caliper would release, (caliper is already replaced), then we know there was a lot of preasure in the braking lines backed up some where,and every time the brakes are applied to compress the the caliper to stop your truck,the preasure would not release,ThisIs a clear indication that the Flexible Rubber Brake Hose attached to the caliper is backed up, clogged, kinked, etc..That would be the next item in the brake system to check.Its Bottom Up Disagnostics...When the hose is off try to slide a strong piece of wire (metal clothes hanger) through the hose.. SOLUTION:Replace Rubber Brake Line's, on both sides.I reccomend Stainless Steel Braided Brake Line. Here is a video that kinda shows corrosion in a rubber hose. Somewhere in your wiring you have a bad connection in either the power wire to your cluster or the overall ground. That is why you have the intermittent operation.
It may not be the fuse! Try a few things first:
1. The wiper is in the same circuit. If it is lagging off the locked position (up), it may disable the rear window. Carefully push the wiper arm to the lock position (where it sits when it isn't wiping ;) ). Try the window.
2. If that doesn't work, behind the driver's seat is a relay board for that window. Check it.
3. Beside the fusebox there are two relays. Take something thin, but firm (short piece of thick wire, toothpick etc) and push it carefully into the hole in the relay to reset it.
By the way, if one of those worked, let us know, but still do what I suggest in 3 and I'll do my best which means you'll know which fuse is which if something else happens.
3. You still want to check the fuse? If you don't know someone with a similar vehicle, i.e. take a picture of their fusebox cover, or you don't want to buy a new cover (it's a good idea and you know it :P ) then post a picture of the fusebox so I can be sure I'm sending you a picture of the layout of the correct fusebox ;)
(There are a lot of different layouts depending exactly on the model so I don't want to post pics of all of them! See why I suggested some other methods of solving the problem?)
Check the fuel pressure. A slight dip in pressure will keep the engine from starting. When is the last time you did a tune up? Even if you are getting some spark you might not have enough. New plugs, wires, distr. cap could solve this problem. Or try a new fuel filter. When diagnosing a car problem always do simple cheap things first, as this usually ends up being the cause.
