Peugeot 405 1993 diesel estate

the alarm control unit is fitted under the drivers seat can be accessed from the rear foot well by putting seat fully forward .unscrew the two nuts holding the cover the relays are inside the unit.

this unit interfaces will tell the fuel stop solenoid to release (by applying 12 volts)

the fuel stop solinoid is on the main diesel pump under the bonnet - the exac location on the pump will depend on the make - but it should be cylindrical and have one wire connected to it - (i dont think peugeot were using multi wired coded soleniods in 93)

obivously if your car has the keypad immobilser you will know where this is - if it is the remote alarm immobilser the reciever is in the over head consol near the interior front light

Why is the front brakes

If the brake is not letting go when you release it then check the calipers. The caliper piston is probably coming too far out of its cylinder.

My peugeot 206 (99) chugs

have you ever serviced it? it may be a mechanical fault causing the smoke but I would remove the plugs and check them first. you can buy a cheap compression tester from any auto store including halfords to test compression your self. if all that's ok you may have a head gasket problem but take it to a garage for confirmation if you aren't sure.;

Just bought 1976 504 diesel xd2 type engine.drove

Oh yes indeed. Block sealer will plug it up, but then it will plug EVERTHING up. Not a good idea to go the block sealer rout my friend. Most likely a head gasket needs replaced BUT, before you do ANYTHING else pal, most likely it has an oil cooler in the system on the block somewhere. Pull that oil cooler and pressure test it to see if that is where coolant is getting into the oil. I've been there Bro, and that's just what it was. Luck toya Bud.

I need to know where

hi.

i have never heard of a bleed nipple on power steering.

you just turn the wheele from full right lock to full left lock and back a few times and the system bleed itself.

if there is still a problem after doing this, then it suggests a fault in the compressor, or the rack itself.

Engine number vin

The vin number is an international system used to identify vehicles. It is like a bar code but in numbers instead of black bars . If you contact the car's maker at the customer relations department and recite the vin number to them they will be able to tell you what components were used in the build of the car from a bill of material used to order all the parts for the car

New 208 SW 5000 miles on the clock, noxious smell in interior

File a "Lemon" with the headquarters of Peugeot. There is obviously a
fuel leak somewhere on that car. Take it to anyone who has some
common sense, to follow the entire fuel system back to the tank, from
the engine. I'm assuming the fuel leak is somewhere in the engine bay, where the fumes are being picked up by the HVAC system, and being
sent right into the car. Good luck.
