the car has dead locks via the central locking, it is very common on this car, take the drivers side door card trim off and look to see if the motors are connected correctly.

hi, this message is warning you that the battery in the key fob is going flat if this battery goes totally flat you wont be able to start your car as its this signal from the key fob that turns the imobiliser off so with out this fob your car wont start so its best you get the battery changed sooner rather than later.

i have had the opposite problem from you my cd has gone but radio works check the back of it to see if the antenna has come loose if not the transmitter has gone in the stereo

i can't change into 2nd,4th and reverse gears. i think its a gear lever cable not sure doe any ideas?

Not in a glow box. When you remove plastic cover for cabin fuse box, you'll be able to see green/black female 16 pin connector. Picture just for reference:

Check the drop link and sway bar (anti roll bar) bushes also the knock could be in the strut top or the strut itself, maybe disconnect the drop link to the sway bar and drive over a pothole and see if the knock is still there.

Get your engine code and search internet by engine code.

If it uses AL4 auto transmission, it's a dipstick with a black plastic handle. Look under battery tray or on the front part of the transmission.
