The problem you are experiencing is a common one for mechanics in the field as well.
Not all code checkers and scanners have the proprietary information available.
Makers of this type of equipment need to pay to allow them to include this capability in the tool.
So in order to make the tool less expensive, they haven't included this in your tool.
All computer information in late model cars is accessed through the OBD connector.
In order for you to get it scanned you will need to hook up to a scanner capable of this for your car.

I had the same problem....try replacing the Clock/Radio fuse located behind a panel inside the car on the driver side. Tell me if it works, it worked for me

You need to take you VIN# and stop into dealer for code

go dealership and give VIN and they will cut you a new key,,show proof of ownership and ID

I believe this is the correct amounts. I did some research and these were the only numbers I was able to find. Hope i helps you.

Firstly what country are you in? if in the US the OBD codes are diffeernt from the UK but I know both issues regadless.

Normally in the UK the code is for the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor but I have known people to repair this fault and still have an engine light, normally removing the battery and then reconnectin it 1 hour later does the job " make sure you know your radio code though" also though sometimes you will find the fault is the ECM and you would have to have that programmed at a GM dealer normally thats Vauxhall in the UK.

In order to help you I will need the exact transmission fault codes that were received during the test. But based on what you said you have a front hydraulic pressure pump failure, this quickly destroys the the transmission due to lack of lubrication.

itis going to be on the passenger side of the car near the front of the motor, these things are usually about elbow deep, so you have to be patient when looking for it, the dipstick is only a couple inches long making it difficult to spot, it may have a yellow or red plastic covering on the loop you use to pull it out

you have to remove the timingbelt

you need to contact dealer and provide VIN# and they'll get your radio code

Good thing you know the dipstick is located!

Try to use a funnel that fits in the dipstick tube, insert the funnel in the hole of the tube and pour the ammount of fluid you needed to top up your transmission.

For this model, the starter should be nearest the firewall/bulkhead and faceing the transmission. If you look under the car, on the engine, you should be able to see it bolted onto the transmission and engine assembly and shouldn't be too hard to change.

I think you should find out an illustarted explanation for what you just asked for and i'll see if i can find you one, because changing struts for the first time can be dangerous, and DO NOT open the centrale bolt on the struts that hold the spring compressed until you have the tool to compresse the spring.
