pull up on the black plastic casing covering the battery. it is located there.

best place is from a dealer spares or if you can locate one from a wrecker who specialises in your make of car wrecks in your area

need to do compression test first then if ok swop coils around see if fault transfers to another cylinder then its information at sensors and ecu eg volts amps earths etc

the 90 mile maintenance is between 600 and 1000 depending whether you use dealer or private auto shop

You can try using anti squeal on the pads. This works in some cases.Another area to check is the rotors for truness. Also all brake hardware and make sure the caliper moves freely on it's slides. Squeal is caused by the pads vibrating. Hope this helps solve your problem.

How does the fuse look? If it is the fuse, then other items would be out as well.

If there is a relay, it may have gone out and you just have to replace it.

If the lights have gone out, you will know because the halogen bulb will be dark on the inside of the glass. These both may have gone out at he exact same time. Low Probability, but possible as the car is 4 years old.

HOT WIRE COOLING FAN USING THE BATTERY AND A JUMPER WIRE.IF FAN WORKS.YOU HAVE A BAD FAN FUSE OR RELAY.AND A FAULTY ECT SENSOR.IF FAN DONT WORK WHEN YOU HOT WIRED IT.THE FAN MOTOR IS BAD.

Pressing and holding the clear button for at least 8 seconds,you will lisen 2 signals on the 2º signal service it will flash.

lazy engine mount or soaked in oil which makes it very soft, i have had a torque arm thats on the front of engine that had a lot of movement.

Check the fan speed control switch; relay and fuse.

Gar' - I've had the low beams on my wife's '05 9-3 go out a number of times (very frustrating), so have figure this one out. You'll need to remove the battery cover to be able to get access to the back to the HL assembly. Once you have that off, you'll see a rubber boot in line with the LB lens/reflector assy., BUT to get your hand in there, you'll need to remove the windshield washer fluid filler tube, just pull up on this, (comes out easily), set aside. NOW, you can get to the rubber boot - looks like a rubber jar lid. Pull this off, reach in and you'll feel the lamp retainer/clip thing. This will need to be twisted counter clockwise (anti-clockwise in the UK, I think ;) ) , twist, pull out, replace bulb, reverse process. WARNING - edges are sharp, space is tight, but gloves are impractical because you'll have to feel around for the bulb assy., so be careful, that said, I use surgical gloves to keep my hands clean and keep from touching the bulb. Standard warnings regarding the touching the lamps with your bare fingers (DON'T), use a cloth or surgical gloves. Hope that helps. a good friend of mine who knows aboat saabs told me to check the connection at the blower motor underneath the windshield wipers and sure enough the connections were all corroded.I cut the wires from the spade connectors and the plug and spliced in longer wire and put on new crimp connectors problem solved

receiver is hidden away inside the dashboard. it could be the fob is weak or you have something interfering with the fob signals, even a fob going faulty can interfere with its own signal, if you have a spare fob try the difference with that one. if you don't have a spare its best to get one as it may come in handy, it will need programing to the vehicle but it will take up 6 fobs.

Doesn´t seems like a mechanical failure. Check wiring and connectors related to the tranny.

no pressure in pump ,similar to old one ?? pump from scrap yard ?? say no more thats why the other car was in the scrap yard .have one of them reconditioned or junk the car
