Petrol filler flap stuck in locked position

As a temporary solution you can normally force it open use something like a credit card (or credit card size piece of stiff plastic)

This forces it open without damaging the paintwork.

For a long term solution it will have to be dismantled to be cleaned up and greased etc

Exhaust glows red next to back box car keeps losin

generally, glowing exhaust is a sign of either the engine being severely retarded, fuel mixture being super lean or the catalytic converter on the exhaust being restricted. Check all. Loosing power can be retarded or restricted cat. I'd check cat first.

ENGINE FAULT

sounds like a fuel filter issue or injector issue the idea behind turning the key on and off then back on is to run the fuel pump as it will pressurize the line or it could be the fuel pump itself have you ever run injector cleaner through your tank ...also may be a actually a few many things i consider all possibilities 1 st visually inspect all vacuum lines and wires that may be exposed as well as the fuel line etc.you can check for fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge Auto Zone will lend you the tool on the spot to determine the proper pressure and this will help you in the process of elimination

Automatic lights wont switch on

From manual:
Automatic operation
With the engine running, vehicles fitted with a light sensor, the dipped beam headlights light up automatically as light begins to
fade; stalk 1 does not need to be turned (position 0).
To deactivate or reactivate this function, move the end of stalk 1 twice consecutively from 0 to side light position, with the engine stopped and the ignition on.
A bleep confirms the deactivation of this function, and two bleeps confirm its reactivation.

Is it difficult to take the water pump off

It depends upon you skill level and the tools you posses, you need to disconnect the battery terminal and drain the radiator then remove all drive belts, remove the pulley on the water pump, if attempting I would recommend purchasing a $20.00 Haynes repair manual to walk you throught he procedure so you don't get in trouble the cooling system on 4 cylinders are critical considering any over heating issues can warp cylinder heads from over heating just once. do it right the first time
