change the light stalk/switch common fault

haha thats the antitheft shroud to stop mechanics from opening the lock with a saw blade slid down the side of the window ,but it has never stopped me when i worked in car rental,any way the door lock has three screws in the side door jam ,if you mean the lock barrel mechanism then to remove the shroud just break it out with a big screwdriver because it clips in

check the fuse for this component si in instruction bok laugets rom.check it there are volt coming to the component. gauger or lamp kan be jused. if volt comes replase the opner whit a new one.

Repairing the transmission gearbox in any cars or truck is one of the most difficult job. It needs
somebody with the expertise of a mechanic. We
cannot discuss this since the gearbox needs to be
opened. Your problem could be cause by a
synchronizing gear, defective bearing or bushing,
etc... A lot of things can happen in a gearbox. So, I
suggest that you take your car to the service center
and have this fixed. Besides, they give you a service
guaranty.

What happen at some time or another your engine got hot, now the head gasket is damage and letting water go where it should'nt. The only fix for this is to have your head gasket replace and the cylinder head check for crack's and resurfic, also they'll need to fine out why it over heated in the first place . Good luck

Is this a factory installed alarm or aftermarket?

This being a diesel, lack of compression is your worst enemy. These symptoms sound like a blown head gasket. Check your coolant for signs of oil, and check your oil for signs of coolant. (oil will be milky looking) Also indicative of a head gasket problem is an oil or coolant leak from the engine as well. If you see no evidence of the above, have a compression test done, and it should show up.

sounds like you ran low on gear oil or it hasint been changed in a while and the gears are damaged.

battery?

the pins on the lazer bulb in your keyfob has snapped off caused buy pressing the button too hard. (the red light will still come on but the key wont work)

heres what to do

open your keyfob and pull the lazer bulbs pins to the other side of the chip board. solder it to the wrong side where you see the nipples (dont worry there still in the right place) and shove a bit of bog roll in there to stop the chip board moveing when you press the button

look for a vacuum leak, pinch each hose seperately

You can buy complete rear brake cylinders, and while you have everything apart to change them, you probaby need to replace the drum brake pads, if they have fluid on them. use a line wrench to undo the brake line on the back of the cylinder to avoid rounding off the fitting.

i had the same problem what happened with mine was that the fuse to the alarm system had blown cause my mate tried 2 jump start it the wrong way so i replaced the battery and also replaced the alarm system fuse and it started up straight away. hope this helps

the oil level sensor is screwed into the engine block on the front of the engine it has a 2pin connector on the end of it.

as for the fuel filter its probably an intank one, the service life of these ones is something like 160,000 miles, to change these u will need to remove the fuel tank sender unit and if you do make sure its practicaly empty of fuel because the plastic fuel tanks can distort

Sounds like a weak ignition component, change the spark plug wires and cap and rotor if not already done, there is also an outside chance the ignition module located inside the distributor could be failing.

do you mean timing belt ,1.4 petrol .

Hi, if when you turn the key to start the car the engine dont turn over as if its trying to start then this indicates that you have a problem with your starter motor it is the selanoid on the starter starting to fail

Sometimes it will turn the engine over starting the car and other times it will do nothing and you might here a slight clocking noise coming from the starter motor.

If your battery is ok and holds the charge ie the lights are bright without the car running then this indicates that your battery is ok and that the starter needs replacing. Sometimes you can get away with giving the starter motor a few taps with a hammer this sometimes clears any muck inside the starter selonoid getting it working for a bit longer but eventually it wont work at all so its best ot get this done sooner rather that later.

just be sure that all the doors are locked well if it is still there so take it to be analyzed on computer to found the fault

petrol might be gone bad or the key has lost its code it will have to be checked by a mechanic
