Pretty much takes a locksmith or mechanic to do this repair, it takes special tools, typically not purchased unless you do lots of repairs.

could be any number of faults but the most obvious to me is a flat bettery try giving it a jump start with some proper cables and them made in china things ,they are only good for a boost charge not a jump start ,cables must be capable of passing at least 200amp current

This sounds like a starter solenoid problem. Replace the solenoid. On some cars it is located on the starter itself, on others it is a separate unit.

Not positive, but I believe you have to press the lower balljoint out of and into the A frame arm.
So you either need to remove the whole A arm, or use a mobile press that can do it on the spot.

This appears to be a large joint, so no guarantee this press will work absolutely. But heat on the arm around the joint may help. And going in should be easier than coming out, as long as you don't let it get canted at an angle. If you burnt he paint off the arm, repaint to prevent rust.

on trhe column there is a bracket that connects to the shift cable ,you will need to remove access panel under steering column and find the bracket an tighten the two screws on the bracket

Check your ignition fuse first. Make sure that the terminals are cleaned and you have a good connection and you see no damage. If that all checks out, including fully charged battery, it probably is your starter. Sometimes a starter can be cleaned out or tapped on, and it will start. You could try that. Change the starter and the solenoid. The starter is drawing to much current for the solenoid to handle. Meaning the starter is on it's way out and the solenoid is on it way to because of the starter.

When you take the caliper off, take a large C-clamp and put on the caliper. Tightening the clamp will compress the piston. Then put the new pads on, and remount the brake caliper.

This car should be equipped with a trunk closing motor. If they wear out they will not pull the trunk firmly closed. If you have a standard latch or other you can try to adjust it by 1) open trunk 2) loosen the two bolts that hold the latch to the trunk lid and moving the latch just slightly higher and retightening the bolts. before you remove the radio, did you check the radio fuse? did you check all the connections ? does the radio light up, and nothing happens, or it doesn't light up at all ?

First off, when was last healthy tune up? Plugs, plug wires, all filters including fuel filter??? I would start there and see if that cures your "miss".

this is a comon problem on fords including most taurus and others ,ford had a recall too on that ,you need to drop sterring colum down in some model remove steering wheel too but not all when tou get the new shifter it as intructions

you can try it, but read this stuff first. I'd recommend replacing it, but if you haven't the time or money, . . .it sounds like that a lot of people have had success with it. But you can't go wrong with a new gasket Fel-Pro permatorque gaskets are what I use.

The electronic heat a/c unit has a self test mode . to activate you can hold warmer and off at the same time to activate[not sure which 2 to press..] this will give you a fault code .also a common problem is the heater lockout which doesnt let heater work till engine is warm. that is on the heat hose under hood and you can unplug the connection and jump 2 wires to the conn. .hope that helps
