The timing in itself can't be affected by different leads and sparkplugs. The actual spark delivered in the cylinder differs when using other leads and sparkplugs than recommended by the Hyundai. This can go either way - better spark (high performance plugs) or less spark (lower quality materials).

Next to this leads can have leaks due to manufacturing faults. Simple way to test this is to open the hood when it's dark with running engine. Blue sparks are signs of leaks in the cables / caps.

Corrosion. Hammer it on the hub (not the brake rotor surface).

There is an input shaft seal (usually suspect when the system is leaking). There are also O-rings at the high pressure side & the suction side of the compressor.... and, yes there are gaskets in the compressor casing, but usually not the cause of leakage. Best advice, have it properly diagnosed by a qualified Hyundai Service Technician.

as with any electrical diagnosis you always want to check fuses and relays, but it sounds like 1 of 2 things......... you ethier really low on freon, causing it to cut off the clutch to save the compressor from damage due to lack of oil, (the lack of freon would indicate a leak in the system) Or your clutch switch is bad. resistance of .5 is normal, check the voltage from the harness, should be around 11.45 volts with engine running, if it s not then check your fuses, or relay also look for shorts in the harness along the path to the relay. if your checking the switch itself resistance should be around .5 like said earlier, but check a refrence manual to be absolute. but im sure its low freon or bad clutch switch.

this fault could be anything from the speedo not working to a vacumn diaphram split and as your not sure then i would ask a local mechanic to have a look for you as this needs a bonnet up and inspect to find the fault iam afraid

its not that hard but if u have a 6 cylinder u may have to remove the upper intake plenem

No. It is on because the computer has detected a problem with the vehicle. You need to get it scanned for codes at Autozone. They do it for free and they can tell you why it is on.

my 2003 just stopped running as i made a left turn everything works on it lights alarm ect it just wont start now it trys but wonk and one can help please and thank you
