It comes up on computer as air instate flow what would that happen

Sounds like mass air flow sensor or ur air cleaner is loose or leaking. The big problem with this car was bad pin tension in the connectors.

It comes up on computer as air intake flow it needs more of

It needs more what. If u say air. Then make sure air cleaner and hoses are tight to throttle body. Make sure sensor and hoses have no leaks. Then try changing sensor. For location look on Internet. If changing sensor does not work. Check pin tension on plug to sensor. They had lots of wiring issues. Mostly due to loose connectors. May need to bend connector terminals to help connection. But becarefull not to distort there shape. May need qualified person. May need to take to shop

I recently installed short ram air intake on my 00

It is probably the intake air temp sensor, since it is still reading the temp under the hood it will not turn a CEL on.

The difference in HP will be +/- 1 hp unless it has a performance exhaust and big turbo.

WE REPLACED THE ENGINE AND NOW THE THERE IS NO POWER GOING TO THE WINDOW MOTORS

Do all lights turn on, etc? If there is no electrical problems anywhere else, either the window motor power connections were disconnected or the fuse was blown at some point working on the engine. My bet is simply the window motor fuse is blown, especially if all window motors don't work.

2000 Hyundai Tiburon wont start. It sat for a year

I suspect that by jumping the dead battery, you inadvertently burned out a fusible link (not a mini-fuse) located on the under-hood fuse panel. Go to this URL: http://www.newtonnet.co.uk/coupe/service/webtech/iindex.asp@id=394881127#_394881127There is a 100A fusible link (Item A on the diagram) that protects all systems. If it blows, you'll still have battery voltage, but no power will be seen anywhere else. Change the fusible link, and you should be able to close the sunroof :-)

I have a blown head gasket i believe. there is a yellow gunk substance in my oil filler and my dipstick is a dark yellow. after running the engine around town and let it idle, the gauge does not overh

Have cooling pressure system donefirst to prove a gasket problem. Some engine head studs go into the water jacket and the head bvolts have a sealer around the threads to stop the coolant leaking into the sump.. Normally coolant in the sump oil is white or grey oil not yellow. If it is not over heating the problem may be else where.. Blown head gaskets are renouned for over heating in short time.

What do i do about my tansmision not shifting in my 2000 hyundai tiburon?

The following are the general instructions on the start of diagnosing any electronically controlled engine or transmission problem.

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM or ECM,ECU), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems. Also engine mechanical problems can and do cause many drive-ability related problem such as rough idle and other symptoms.

2000 hyundai tiburon shuts off will not restart until it sets for an hour or so

HelloThe engine and automatic transmission in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM
