How do you unlock a 2003 Hummer RDS radio reading
About the theftlock RDS radio system.
* The theft deterrent system now utilizes class 2 serial data to determine if the radio is in the authorized vehicle.
* Each time the radio receives accessory power from the ignition, it compares the VIN information it has stored to the VIN information received from a module on the class 2 serial data circuit responsible for transmitting that information.
* If a match does not occur, the radio display will indicate "locked".
* Once this occurs the radio will not respond to operations and become inoperative.
The following conditions will enable radio lock:
* A radio is installed from another vehicle.
* A module which communicates on the class 2 serial data circuit which supplies VIN information to the radio is replaced and not properly setup with the correct VIN information for that vehicle.
To unlock radio you will need access to a GM scan tool. Hope helps (remember to rate this).
Hello, my h1
Sounds like the window drive motor or switch may have failed. The driver's window gets the most use, and thus is the most likely to fail.
Blower motor is making noise, how do I access it
with you asking it just reminded me of how long it had been since i was at the dealership. so here i am with my manual and if you take off the kick panel on the passenger side you will see the blower motor assembly. the auxilary one is in the centre console just before the back seating area. these things are real easy. just keep track of the screws lol. if its making noise it will need to be replaced but pull it first to make sure there are no leaves in the housing. be sure to double check the numbers for the gm number. these are ACME units and if i remember right you can get a gm aftermarket replacement cheaper then HUMMER.
Heater doesn't blow hot air. It blows cold air
I expect the controls or valve to open coolant from the engine will not open. As it is not open it does not allow the hot engine coolant to flow thru the heater coil. I am uncertain with your H1 if this valve operates via a control cable or vacuum.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom
Location of chassis number for
The numbers for the HMMWV or M-998 should have been on a data plate on the dash or B-pillar (where the door latch is). Do you need a TM (Army shop manual)? What are you trying to get done. I will be happy to help in any way possible. The reason you can not find it is because they were designed to be repaired in the field if necessary to include frame rails, whole bodies and power trains.
My hair is
Not sure what this has to do with a car! LMAO Take fish oil capsules for your hair. And quit dying it!! The root is of no help.
