Pcv 2004 lincoln ls v8 where

For the Lincoln LS V8, there is a flexable tube on the drivers side of the engine that runs from the valve cover/crankcase to the air intake tube. There isnt a PCV valve for this engine, it is just a tube for ventilation.

Pcv 2004 lincoln ls 3.9l where

The 3.9 L V8 Lincoln LS does not have a PCV valve. There is a tube on the drivers side of the engine that goes from the valve cover/crank case to the air intake and this is what performs the crankcase ventilation. There is no valve to change

Does freon go bad

No. What happens is over time, the AC system develops leaks. More often than not, you will need to address these leaks to correctly fix the issue. If it is an older car, a recharge may be all that you need as some leakage may be somewhat normal.

2006 lincoln ls with po406 code

This code is related to the EGR system. Inspect the vaccum lines around the EGR valve and see if there are any breaks. These get brittle with age. It may be stuck open or closed as well, and if this is the case you will need to replace this. Go to rockauto.com and you should be able to find it for around $100. http://www.obd-codes.com/p0406

Have a code p0352

The bad coil is a staple of the LS. The best thing to do is to replace all 8 coils and plugs as the OBD is not particularly reliable for tracking down the misfire. If one is going and is bad enough to throw a code, the others likely are not far behind. One bad coil makes the others work harder.

Misfire cylinder lincoln ls

Misfire is almost always bad spark plug and/or ignition coil. I wouldnt trust an OBDII scanner to correctly diagnose which cylinder is misfiring. Your best bet is to replace the coils in all 8 cylinders (or 6 if its a V6) since when one goes out it makes the others work harder, meaning that they arent far behind

2004 Lincoln Ls misfire

Are you getting a code with this misfire or just feeling one? This car eats coils for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would replace all (6 or 8) coils and plugs. That would be the best place to start

How to install a transmission

Some of the torque converters have what is called "forks" which are machined ends that slide into matching slots in the transmission. These forks or "fingers" must be clocked to mesh together. If you are using used parts or rebuilds, make sure you have the correct parts. Sometimes there are differences in year to year machining. There may be differences between a 6 cylinder trans or a 8 cylinder trans. If you think about it, the length of the block may require a deeper Bell housing and the distance may be made up with shaft length or Torque converter thickness. You may have a mismatch with your parts.

P0305 trouble code

P0305 is a misfire code in cylinder 5. Not sure whether you have a v6 or a v8, but regardless, this car in particular goes through ignition coils pretty quickly. The best way that I have found to deal with a misfire code is to change all 8 ignition coils and spark plugs at the same time. Make sure that you use only Motorcraft coils as the PCM does not play well with after market coils. rockauto.com has them for around $50 per coil

Battery dies after two days if you don't drive it

The first thing that I would try is to bring the battery to a parts store (oreilly, autozone, advanced auto, napa ect.) and have them test the battery. Most places will do this for free. My guess would be that this is your problem, especially if you live in a colder climate or if you have had other issues that led to your battery being drained (you left your lights on, alternator ect) If your battery comes back as bad/not holding a charge, then that should be your issue. If the battery is okay, then you have a drain somewhere in the electrical system. This is more often than not in some aftermarket component, so if you have an aftermarket radio or sound setup, have that checked out. Otherwise you could probably inspect the battery cables as well, but this is a PITA with this car since the battery is in the trunk. Good luck

Car battery go dead after two days if don't drive it

This means you have a short which is draining power. The first thing would to be to test the charging system in the car. Many autoparts stores like autozone, oreilys, and advance will test for free. There is a part inside the Alternator called a Diode. It is important to test this. Sometimes Relays stick and discharge when your car is turned off. It is a little easier to understand if you realize that turning the ignition key to run your car is activating main relays and secondary relays to connect everything. When the car is shut off, all of the connections need to cleanly break connections that would keep a function going.

Turns over but will not start

Often this is a Inertia switch that has disconnected power to the fuelpump. It has a reset button on it. It is located either in the trunk next to the Air-ride control or in the cabin around the front floor kick panels.
