After a heavy rain, I noticed about 2 inches of water on the rear passenger floorboards of my '02 Signature TC. A little way into the thread, it specifically discusses the leak on the passenger side. My leak was coming in through the foam gasket under the HVAC (air vent assembly). After reading the entire thread, I concluded my problem could be fixed by following Ralka's instructions on page three, reply #25. The whole repair took just over an hour - I'm not a mechanic, so if you're mechanically inclined, it would probably take less time. It fixed the problem.PS - I also had to replace two plastic, rectangular cowl retainer clips (with plastic screws), they're made by Dorman (the 41099 cowl retainer fit perfectly, in spite of a link they have that says it's not made for the TC). Have the Radiator cooling fans checked. There are Relays and the Temperature sensors activate the Relays which control the fans. The antifreeze level should be visible in the overflow tank. The temperature sensors work off of the engine temperature. Usually 1 sensor controls the water temperature gauge or light and the other temperature sensor operates the Relays and signals the ECM about operating temperatures.

You have a leak in the air ride system, such as a line or an air spring.

you more than likely have a leak somewhere or the pump is faulty. if you can access the air lines get a spray bottle with water and a little dish soap. turn the pump on and spray the lines with the soapy water mixture. where ever you have a leak will blow bubbles.

My 2002 town car has good cold air, but I hear clacking sound when I stop and sit. When I drive off again it will quit just a few feet down the road. Sounds like coming from AC. Whats up?

Sorry, but going back to the basics is probably best...How many miles on old plugs? Why not change spark plug wires with plug tune-up? The new plugs could be damaged in installation (crack in porcelin) old plug wires could be mis-firing...be sure to reset the memory by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes...then have the diagnostic test completed again. Any rough performance?

sounds like the water pump is bad . when they go bad they have a weap hole and it leaks fluid from there. you can usually see this leak from under the car. hope this helps
