Broken trim on driver seat 2010 navigator
I used zip ties to tighten it back down on my 2006 navigator. Sounds like same flaw in manufacturing covers many year models. The zip ties( large ones) helped for a long time but I'm still looking for better longer term fix myself.

Where is the fuel pump
I see it's been 2 hours since you posted your question but am sending it to you anyway. See picture below for location. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, you can email me at
[email protected] with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Don't worry no cost. I hope this helps and good luck. One other thing, if your not getting any fuel, have you checked your fuses as well because in the power distribution box (fancy name for a big fuse box) in the engine compartment if a fuel pump fuse and a fuel pump relay as well. I went on and gave you a picture of the layout of that fuse box and the fuse is in the number 10 position (20 amp) and the relay is in the number 301 position.

2001 Navigator. Why does it get stuck in reverse and neutral?
Adjustment of the linkage between the shift lever and the transmission. If you are a DIYer, I recommend a repair manual for detailed instructions and alternate solutions if I am a little off. If this is beyond your capabilities take to dealer or a reliable transmission shop (Ask friends for recommendations). You may find "clubs" on line that have a lot of experience with your specific problem.

04 lincoln navigator, Air ride
My suggestion to you and all the other folks leaving questions on this board about collapsed air suspension systems in luxury cars is to fix that one by replacing it with a real spring and shock system which you can buy at www.strutmasters.com if it is economically feasible, then sell it and avoid air suspensions systems like the plague. There are legions of old 70s Citroens still sitting idle 30 years later on collapsed air suspensions systems in garages and barns all over the country which cars the buyers can't let go because they cost so damn much. Get a coleman air mattress and use it every day, see how long it really lasts.

Remove and replace hood latch
too easy. remove the latch, two bolts, maybe three. Pull it up. release they cable to it. You'll see how once up and clear. When setting it, raise the latch to the highest point, shut the hood. Lower it as necessary to make the hood match the other body parts. You don't have much adjustment on these so lower it slowly. If you lower it to low, it will start to get hard to pull the handle, and the hood won't pop up.
