1999 lincon town car no power to fuel injector

Sometimes a crankshaft sensor does not send the signal to fire either the spark or the fuel injectors. If the fuel pump relay is not getting power, the inertia sensor will not have power either. The inertia reset is just magnetic and does not depend on having power to reset. You can check for current at the Inertia sensor and at the fuel pump relay. You can also have fuel pressure at the test port without the injectors working, which is the easiest test of all, You need the sequential firing pulse for the injectors. Have you checked the EEC Relay?

No park lights or dash lights

Park light, check the bulbs themselves buy checking the headlights and see if the bulbs are burned out. But both can very well be fuses...they are located under the hood on the driver's side near the wheel well, and under the dash nearest to the door also the driver's side.

1999 lincon town car no power to fuel injectors

My suggestion would be is to have your "fuel pump" checked. With the gas deposits etc, it can clog it up, or make the float stay stuck closed.

Changed my battery in 1999

try by removing cables from battery, and hold cables together for about 10 seconds this may reset pcm. If this doesnt work your vehicle needs to put on a scanner. Not just an obd one.

a lot of cars from ford have the pats system installed. you could also have some pcm issues, for the pcm has to relearn some procedures. hope this helps !

High nox reading preventing emmissions pass

Your uncle could be right. It is always best to make sure you put the correct fuel for your make and model in the tank. Don't put in any additives unless approved by the vehicle manufacturer. The catalytic converter in the exhaust system is what reduces the CO and NOX in your exhaust. It has a catalyst in there which causes certain chemical reactions in the exhaust. Firstly the converter must reach operating temperature, so before you get the exhaust checked make sure your cars exhaust is nice and hot, a five minute drive up to the inspection station first thing in the morning may not get the converter to the operating temperature. The other problem may be as your uncle said. The injector cleaner may have put out certain chemicals into the exhaust that have put a fine layer of residue in the converter. This will block the NOX from getting to the catalyst and therefore stop or lower the reduction. You may have to replace the converter (they are expensive here in Australia) but you should try and take the car for a long easy drive in the hope that it will burn off the residue (if there is any in the converter) and then go and have the levels checked, the converter should be hot enough to do its job by then. You may also want to try another inspection station on the other side of town or another town depending on the distance, that will get the converter to operating temperature and the inspection stations meter may be calibrated better than the one you are going so it will give a better reading!

2000 lincoln town car has a pin size leak just below the thermostat housing , it is made of plastic . Was told that it is called lower thermostat housing. I cant find any listing for said part. Any he

Do a Google search using the term "2000 Lincoln Town car lower thermostat housing". Looks like this problem can escalate into you needing a new intake manifold. I would try J-B weld if you can get on the backside of the leaking area.

The case that holds the thermostat is cracked

This would be called a thermostat housing or cover. It is not impossible to patch but water is erosive. I would use J-B weld. I have used J-B on a pump housing for a 3500PSI pressure washer and it still works. But there were not constant hot and cold stresses as you have in your engine.

Need the amperage for a 1999 lincoln town car fuse box and what each fuse is for

Hello, There are some good sources of info on the Web using a Google search. Type in 1999 Lincoln Town Car fusebox. There are some sites which expand the info to include photos, a Wiring chart, fuse ratings, positions, and colors. They are free. The only thing to watch for is when a group of snapshots are displayed for your question, they may be lumped into a pile of snapshots from other vehicles. The benefit of enlarging the snapshots is that when you wait for the slow display enlargement, it is completely legible.
