If you're sure the engine is running cool enough check the fuel pressure, low fuel pressure can vapor lock if the engine is hot enough the gas will boil. The boiling point of 87 octane is 181 degrees Fahrenheit although gas is constantly being returned to the tank in order to cool the fuel rail low pressure will not return enough leaving room in the rail for gas to boil. Friend, your only problem is a radiator cap that holds too much pressure and when hot enough will blow some coolant out. You'll never see it because it just dissipates from being hot. Swap out your radiator cap for a lower pressure one. I had to do this myself and the problem stopped.

Don't know why someone did not suggest a horn relay. You can find wiring diagrams and fuse box layouts on the Web. Autozone has both free help and pay help on their site. Think Rock Auto shows relay for $5 or so. Put in search term for Web your car and wiring diagram. You may find that this is a common problem and videos are available.

it may be a shifter linkage issue. There is an interlock to prevent the car from bouncing out of park into reverse and if the linkage is not correctly adjusted, then it locks up.

computer is programed to monitor headlight circuit for a specific voltage , if that voltage is not being supplied , either over drawing or under drawing the information center message gets triggered. It thinks the bulb is burned out or something is wrong. Apparently the HID's are drawing more juice than the computer is used to seeing ,and it is triggering the message. The manufacturer of the hid kit should have warned you that this can happen,in it's description before you bought the kit.

You may have some frayed bare wiring touching.

If you didn't disconnect the battery before changing lighter you may have shorted something out. Try disconnecting the battery for a while. some cars have capacitors that keep the computer memory so give it about an hour to be safe.
