I need to remove the rear seat of a 96 Lincoln Continental
Push the lower seat cushion toward the rear of the car and lift, there's 2 hooks approx. 12" or so either side of the center of the seat.
The seat back is held in with 2 bolt located on the lower outside corners.
You'll have to unbolt the seatbelts from the floor to completely remove the seat back.
How do i charge my car battery for a jump
on the good car, clamp onto the positive post then clamp onto the dead positive post on the other vehicle.(making sure that both vehicles dont touch each other). Then clamp the black negative on the good vehicle and then clamp the black negative lead on the dead battery to a good engine piece of metal or large bolt. Start the good car and let it idle for five minutes. After this make sure that the only light on in the dead car will be the interior light, shut off all other electrical devices, radio, wipers, headlights "if possible" then have the person in the good car rev the idle up to about 2000 rpm and hold it there while you try to start, if it wont start after 10 seconds, find a better ground, wait a few minutes again before trying. if it doesnt start you may have a bad cell take a voltmeter and measure between the two post on the dead battery..if its lower than 12.3 volts eg, 11.7 its bad....batteries usually only last three years!
any feedback would be appreciated.
thanks
