Problems with brake lights on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
YES -- process of elimination. Obviously there's a short circuit in the Brake/Headlight circuits - right? Blown fuse(s) is/are evident of this -- would you agree? Which fuse(s) is/are blowing? An analysis tells you that the only time a fuse blows is when the headlamps are turned on -- correct? Otherwise, brake lights work normally -- right? OK. Head lamps have relays which turn them on. Here's a wiring diagram of the 2000 Hyundai Sonata (NOT the Jeep Grand Cherokee)
It would appear the problem is with one or more bulbs or sockets or both. As you many notice, there are no connections between the headlamps and brake lamps except the parking lamps (which share the bulbs/sockets)
When the headlamps are turned on, so does the tail lamp relay. As you can see, these bulbs/sockets are 'DUAL' filament to ground (series-parallel circuit). Just a guess here - the short is in one of the lower rear brake/parking lamp bulbs/sockets.... just a guess.
One low beam headlight is working the other isn't
If you verified both bulbs are good by moving them from one side to the other with the same result then it will be the contact or wire at the back of the bulb. it will not be a switch or fuse. just a bad contact or wire.
Where are the oxygen sensors on a 2004 sonata 6 cylinder?
follow the exhaust system from engine back you will see a short cylinder with a wire on top the first one is your upstream which is the one before the cat converter keep following and the next one will be after the converter downstream one

2004 hyundai sonata over heating no leaks
You've looked in all the right places so far, and presuming the water pump is operating correctly (fan belt adjusted) and there is sufficient oil to lubricate motor, I'd suggest checking your ignition timing. If the timing is too far advanced i.e.firing too much before top dead centre-BTDC, then a motor is inclined to over-heat. Another cause of over heating is a lean fuel mixture. Examine spark plug electrodes - they should be brown to light tan colour. Light grey to white indicates lean burn and subsequent over-heat.Take care around a hot engine.
My car wont start. cranks but doesnt start
There are a few things that you didn't mention. Can you tell me if your car has "Anti-theft"? Your car also has a component called a Main Relay and another component called an Ignition Control Module. Any one of these can cause your symptoms. I hope this answers you question. If you need further information or instructions, write back. I hope to hear how your repair is going, good luck.
Why car my car start?
No spark? Then there is probably no signal to trigger the spark. Possible causes:
1) Cam position sensor.
2) Crank position sensor (you replaced it)
3) Coils (already replaced)
3) Wiring and connections to and from coils (bad grounding points or bad live feeds)
Suggestion: Stop the guessing and spending with "probable" causes. Have the car scannned for error codes and start from scratch according to error codes.
How do I release the tension on the ac belt
your tensioner pulley is most likely spring loaded with a square slot and it made for a 3/8 inch drive ratchet set your ratchet to loosen stick it in the hole and give it a little crank it is spring loaded so you'll have to hold of their why you pulled the belt off but it will loosen the belt and should be really easy to slip off
Alarm went off and now car won't start.
You are most likely correct, it probably has an alarm. Unfortunately, most alarm systems are connected to the remote that is broken. You should have to have your dealership get you a new remote for the vehicle.
