Why is my 2004 Santa Fe stalling when I refuel?

Do you notice any check engine lights coming on the dash when this happens, also has the vehicle had any recent repairs or any reason why this may be happening? Any input from you is helpful. I will check my resources and see what we can find out. Use a fuel system cleaner. The whole bottle. They sell them at autozone and gas stations. Also, try using the highest grade gas that you can. Let me know if it seems to fix itself.

Sudden high idle when started that doesn't come down (1800-2000 rpms) also accelerates slowly

Check for any disconnected hoses that may be causing a vacuum leak resulting in a high idle. Make sure coolant level in radiator is not low which can also attribute to a high idle.

  • Not sure what you by add battery? I assuming you mean a second battery. If started with 2 batteries, when running, remove the second battery, does it keep running?
  • If so replace 1st battery with second and make sure you clean the battery cables.

I have a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe that won't start or even fire up I have had the cam shaft sensor replaced, new hornets, and new ECU brainbox and it still won't start what else could the problem be.

Determine if there is FUEL. Spray Starting Fluid into the Air Intake and crank. If it starts then you have a Fuel Delivery Issue. If you Start, then determine if you have SPARK. No Spark, No Fuel, No Air..... Not going to start.

My Hyundai Santa Fe engine go off when driving

If the check engine light is on (my wife says it looks like a picture of a faucet) take the car to someone who can read the engine codes and that should tell you what's happening. If it isn't on, I cannot help you much. Sounds like a sensor is out of wack.

Can someone please tell me where to locate the headlight fuse relay in a 2004 Hyundai Santa fe? My headlights went out and the fuses are both good but I cannot find the relay to replace it.

Things to check; common wire for ground may be disconnected so take the common wire and run a jumper to the battery. lights could be bad they wear out too. Substitute a known good lamp in both sides to see if this fixes problem. Headlights also go thru the dimmer switch so run headlights to battery with a jumper wire. This bypasses headlamp switch and dimmer. Consult the owners manual for fuses, relays and their locations. One fuse box is usually inside passenger compartment and another under the hood. Hope this helps.

Change plugs now not getting any spark my daughter n law was in the car will I was changing the plugs turn the key to put window up now I can't get it to turn on

Do you get any lights on the dashboard turning on when you turn the key to run/start positions? Do you get any noise from the starter/solenoid when you turn the key to start? Do the headlights come on when you turn the light switch on (Could you have a dead battery? Check it.) Unlikely spark plugs and power window have any connection. More likely something else happened in between those two events. Try removing negative battery cable, keep off for 10 minutes, then reattach and try starting the car. If you have a diagnostic code reader, attach to the diagnosis port under the dash and turn the ignition key to run position. Read codes and see what the computer detects as the problem.

Why does my A/C have cold air but does not blow

Which engine? Which control do you have (manual or digital?) If it does not blow on any speed low or high, it might be the fuse. Does your compressor run when you turn on the A/C(you will need a visual check)?
