Remember that when trouble shooting you need to have a fully charged battery. When was the last time you had it tuned-Up, changed plug wires, changed Air Filter, PVC Valve and changed Gas Filter? If all this has been done in the last 6 months to a year then you need to check for spark and if you have no spark then you need to check for a bad coil. Turn Key on but do not start car and listen for a hum for about 3 or 4 seconds. If you hear it the fuel pump is working. Now we need to now if you are getting fuel to the injectors. So you need to be very careful when working around fuel lines cause it can cause a fire. Make sure you remove your Fuel Relay or Fuse and then Open Fuel port (It is a valve that looks like a tire pressure valve with a pin in the middle) push it in and see if you get any fuel out of it but have a rag ready to catch the fuel, be very careful when working with the fuel line. If you get fuel but it is not under pressure then you may have a bad or weak fuel pump or a bad fuel regulator. Do not throw parts at it make sure you know what it is before changing a part. Hi try operating with the spare remote to lock & unlock the doors & try the spare key to start may be the immobilizer playing up if it starts with the spare key it could be the transponder in the key itself wanting re programing hope this helps

The switch is bad, replace the switch

Don't.  What you have to do is take the ashtray out then remove the 2 screws.  Pry the whole assembly off and replace the switch in the back. The knob only moves the switch back and forth and nothing more.

you might want to focus on your fuel system could be something in the fuel filter.

To remove the knob, put it on the second speed setting and pull! Center piece and outer knob will pop right off. Found the answer elsewhere and it ought to be here too.

Get your meter out and find out which wire gets voltage when the high beams are on. Much easier than trying to find schematics.

several things can cause this. The hose from the tank to filler can collapse, the vent hose can do the same,

Check the transmission fluid level first and make sure it's full. If it is full then a trip to a transmission shop would be the next step. It's quite possible that a simple fluid and filter change may fix the problem.

my book shows p2127 code as accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor/switch E-- low input === causes wiring short to ground--APP sensor / switch. IT depends on the manufacturer as to the definition as the TPS can be on the air inlet before the manifold and on others it is at the base of the pedal. Because of the cost I suggest speaking with a dealer service centre to find out where it is and if you can save money by getting a unit from a wrecker that handles you make of vehicle then that is the way to go. Low mileage wrecks will have good units .
