Hi my car won’t start it turns over fine but the immobiliser seem to be kicking in. Was running fine changed the battery an now won’t start. Any ideas?

The flasher module is part of the BCM (body control module) module, that is part of the passenger compartment fuse box. See photo.

sounds like a bad connection or bad starter, when it runs it will heat up starter. when its cold the metal or bad connection will expand and contract. check main all connections going to starter

Do you have a decrease in power? Do you have water in oil? Do you have a increase in fuel and or oil usage. How much condensation comes from your exhaust. What type of car is it. Your local AutoZone can be very helpful in diagnosing this problem

You need to have the transmission repaired. There is a faulty Solenoid inside the transmission.

You would need to find out if it is a problem with the compressor or the blower motor. You could pull the compressor relay or unplug the compressor to find out.

weird but try this. at the top of you brake pedal you see a switch that the brake pedal touches when in the unpressed position see if that stopper you are talking about mounts on the pedal arm .

Find your fuse panel. There should be 2 round metal ones that look different from the regular fuses. These are your flashers. Most have 2. One is for your turning signals, the other is for your emergency flashers. If your turning signals are not working, then simply switch them. Now your signals should work fine. Then go to the store at your convenience to pick up a new one to replace the emergency flasher.

Valve body or torque converter is going bad. Also Some cars have a overdrive off button, make sure you did not hit it on accident

What have you checked so far ?Is it getting spark to the plugs, compression, and fuel to the injectors ?

You slip it in between the weather stripping and the window, with the angle of the Jim oriented toward the door lock. There are a series of rods that connect the inner and outer handles with the door lock, so you just have to push down, or maybe lift up and move it around until you find a rod. It will help you greatly if you can find online a picture of what the exploded view of your lock assembly looks like. Once you hook a rod or press on one, you'll just have to experiment until you pop it. Beware: Some newer cars have plates welded inside to prevent slim jims from working.

I would check into the Trans oil temp sensor,they are known to keep the trans from shifting into 4th gear if they have a open or a shorted circuit...This may also be the culprit for the other issues you are experiencing when the trans is at diff temps and doing diff things....The other thing that is known for going bad in that Transaxle is the Sunshell...The splines on the inside of the sunshell strip out and than you will lose pretty much all forward gears,Except for 1st gear most likely and you will also lose Reverse if the Sunshell goes bad...But this will not act any different if the temperature is cold or hot

Do you have a SES light? Do you have a Service Wrench light? If the answer to either one is yes then go to a parts store and ask to get he codes read. Get the actual DTC number and not some definition/explanation and post it back here. If the answer to both is NO then it is probably the range switch is out of adjustment.

the transmission forward band is slipping flushing or replacing fluid will not help you will have to overhaul or replace transmission the reason problem got worse after fluid replacement is that the dirty fluid actually helps to seal minor spaces in clutches and bands when new fluid circulates through passages it will pick up deposits and remove dirt sealing clutches and bands most trans shops dont reccomend replacing trans fluid on vehicles over 120,000miles or 180,000kms that haven had regular trans fluid maitenance for that exact reason

Have you checked the fuel relay? this is most often the fault and not the pump, also some of these fuel pumps are coded to the cars ECU so if you bought a used one or a new one you may have to have it coded to the ECU.

The most likely cause of your power window not closing is the power window motor inside the door. Most of them cost around $100 + installation, but check your local shop for a more accurate cost estimate.

USE THE 2 EYES FOR THE ROPE AND A PULLEY FIXED TO A ROOF BEAM. USE BEAM SUPPORTS IF NOT STRONG ENOUGH....2 HEFTY GUYS COULD LIFT IT BUT ITS NOT IDEAL....AS YOU NEED TO GUIDE IT OUT.....

None.. You Could make a Turbo System.. it might be difficult to fit a 3.5L from a Sonnata in those car !
