The engine will not turn

SOUNDS LIKE LOW VOLTAGE. TRY # 4 CABLE JUMPER CABLES LIGHT DUTY CABLES WON'T DO THE JOB. IF IT JUMP STARTS, CHECK THE ALTERNATOR. WITH MOTOR RUNNING, VOLTAGE AT THE BATTERY SHOULD READ BETWEEN 13.90 & 14.80. REMOVE JUMPER CABLES FOR THE VOLTAGE TEST. THE MOTOR MAY HAVE TO RUN FOR A FEW MINUTES FOR A TRUE VOLTAGE READING.

No turn signals or flshers

Your Flasher Module needs to be replaced, it should be located under your dash by the fuses or in the Engine Compartment next to the Relays.

What does this error code on my 1998 Tiburon mean?

Hello oceanbreez
It can mean that the mass air flow sensor is bad or you have a vacum
leak. The sensor is on the air intake tube that runs from the intake
manifold on top of the engine to the air filter housing. Check for any vacum leaks going into and in the area of the sensor, such as the clamps on the intake tube and be sure the air filter housing cover is
on correctly and secure, also check the electrical connections at the
sensor make sure they are clean and tight. Also when checking for a
vacum leak a can of spray gumout can be helpfull, just spray the area
in question, if the engine revs up a little a leak is present. If all this
checks out I would replace the mass air flow sensor. But if the car is
running good you can have the code cleared at any parts store for free
then drive it normaly and see if the code pops again, if the engine light
comes on again refer to the above, if not could be just one of those
things. Hope this helps.

The remote does not operate the central locking

More then likely it is your remote that is broken. it dose send more then one signal to the car each button you press sends a different signal that is interpreted by the vehicle. Because some of your buttons work and other do not I would suggest having your remote checked, you can take it back to a dealership or to a auto-zone and they will be able to check your remote to make sure that it is not broken.

I hope this helped.

Thank you,
Norse

Front end shakes alittle when driving over 40 till

Have the tires inspected and rebalanced. As tires wear, the points at which they first were unbalanced have now worn and other spots may throw a little shake at higher speeds. The tires should be balanced every 15,000 miles or at least checked. By that time you should be on you third tire rotation(every 5,000). This will also help pin point any trouble spots or potential failures in the tires, brakes, or suspension(since they should be looking while the tires are off). But don't assume they are telling you the truth. If they wont show you, it isn't true! Plus don't feel obligated to have it repaired there. Get a second opinion if that makes you feel more comfortable. You would with a doctor. Be the advocate for your car!

Sorry for the severe delay.
I am personally going back to answer your unanswered question.
I do not know if you still need the answer, but I am going to answer it in case you still do.

Click on the following direct Link. It has the Timing Belt Diagrams with Marks for the Camshaft and Crankshaft that you will need.

Diagram 97F11945 should have the "dots" on the Crankshaft and the adjacent (up and to the right) Pulley aligned.

Again my apologies...

How do I remove my backseat from my Hyundai

normally you will have to lay the backs down and lift the little velcro strip up. There should be two bolts on the back of each section. Once the bolts are out you can just slide the two section straight out- towards the windshield.

The bottom section is held in by two or three bolts that will be exposed now that the seat backs are gone. There will also be two metal clips sticking out from underneath the seats that need to be pulled out before the seat will come free.

Good luck!

My boyfriend has a hyundai tiburon 1998 and the it

It is easiest if you take the air filter and its casing off. use a 8mm wrench to disconnect the top of the case. there should be three 10mm bolts holding the bottom of the case to the frame. Once the air filter case is off the speed sensor connection is almost directly under it, slightly more towards the engine, on top of the automatic transmission. A 1998 Tiburon has a pulse generating speed sensor, which means there is only one connection to deal with, but it has two sensors which bolt onto the transmission. To remove the old sensor, press the release pin on the connection, to do this I use a small Allen wrench. It is easiest to follow the lines of the old sensor to find where the two sensors are to be placed. Once the two sensors are found, they can be removed using a 10mm wrench. it may be easiest to replace the far sensor with the driver side wheel removed, or at least the car should be elevated.Good luck and keep me posted.
