HOW TO PUT A

Theres a knock pin in the upper timing gear and it needs to be at the top and with it at the top theirs and mark on the edge of the gear that lines up with the mating point of the valve cover and the top of the cyclinder head. the lower gear has a dimple on the block at about2 O'Clock and theirs a cut out dimple thats on the back edge of the lower gear that can be turned to line up withthe dimple in the block, the zero mark on the ting cove will also line up in this position with the cover on and the lower pully installed. Manuel trans models also have a mark on the frywheel gear on the clutch cover under a rubber plug in the top of the transmission bell housing that will line up too only have to see the one lined up good, with the new belt on turn the motor over by hand till you see the marks line up again as it's easy to put the belt on one thooth off. make sure to tighten the tensioner bolt as it's easy to forget and the belt will come off soon and with bad results.

I have hyundi coupe 1600,

If it misfires when wet/damp, I'd change plug wires, but if it is only a problem from cold start, I'd be looking at the choke settings. Seeing how I have no info on year, I'm guessing by the fact that points were changed, that it is also carburetor and not fuel injected.

Dear Sir / Madam, I have

How are you going to look into without help. Make sure that you have a good ignition spark at the plugs, so check the plugs, the wires, the coils , Nowone one side of the coil you will get +12 and on the other side a pulsating +12 , this impulse should be very good toproduce a high intensity spark.
now check your feul pressure and flow, check timing /tuning
your car must start without any issues.

My santro is giving lot

If you mean that when the engine is started there is a high noise then you have some punctures in your mufffler. Normally it is ideal to replace the muffler and then you must replace with the OE component. The cost of the duplicate will be about 50 % cheaper and will not last longer. However the cost may vary with differrent places but the OE will have a marked price about less than $50. But first of all please ensure that the noise is not coming out of loose joints of the silencer . You can look underneath after starting the car to confirm. Ask a friend to close the exhaust pipe with a flat board to confirm the leak. if this is the joints you can tighten. Also If you find small punctures on the side , it is possible to get them welded and fittted back which can get you some more time before a change is needed, As most of the authorised workshops may not help in this regards you can get the job done by an independant serrvice centre. The cost will be minimal. Hope you try Good day

Oil leak from driveshaft n/s

not sure if you can interchange the manual & aut shafts, but you should check to see if there is excessive play where the shaft enters the gear box if so the diff bearings my be worn, if there is no play or noises from gear box when driving, remove the shaft again an try the seal on the shaft to check it's a proper fit, before fitting seals it is a good idea to leave them soaking in oil for a few hours prior to fitting

hope this helps

Regards

When reving the engine oil poured out from front

Oil filter or Engine block usually do not crack. From your description, especially if it is an older car, I would suspect that one or more engine 'internal' oil seals have broken or have perished: I would get it checked professionally as it is a extremely damaging condition when you have no oil pressure (oil warning light would be on). Hope it helps: let me know what you find.

My car is hyundai gertz

Hello. You will need to get the fault codes read on a scanner. Some auto parts have a portable scanner which they may loan to you. Or, you may have to call around to get your hyundai scanned. If it is cold where you are located you may need to get an engine oil heater installed so you can keep it plugged in when you are parked for extended periods of time. You should also check your battery as a weak battery will cause your problem, as will a poor battery connection. Disconnect your battery, take it to any auto parts store and have it tested. Also clean the battery posts and connectors with some emery cloth or steel wool then reassemble and make sure the clamps are tight on to the posts. USE the proper open end or socket wrench to tighten it down. regards, Joe

The car was running and

The diesel is fairly simple...you do have an electrical system and computer input, but aside from that, the only thing that you need is super heated fuel/air mix and high compression. No spark required. A typical gas engine has a compression ratio of 8:1, your diesel should have have a compression ratio of at least 21.6:1, then with the heated fuel mix, you get combustion from super heated gas and extreme compression! First do a diagnostic code check. This can be performed for free at any advance or autozone location, since you can.t start and drive there, they will let you borrow an OBD II reader, (You may have to leave a credit card deposit), they will show you how to connect, then when you bring back, they will interpret the codes for you and let you know if a fault code exists. Your only other concerns are as I have mentioned, the fuel mix and the compression. If compression is an issue, it can be diagnosed by a compressioin check, If no fault codes exist, then you likely have a compression problem or a fuel mix that is not showing up. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

I have a 2006 Hyundai Matrix 1.6 GSI petrol.

My experience with Hyundai vehicles strongly suggests you have a bad TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). Replace it... see if that CURES it. (OR, you can have a qualified technician bench test it to see if it is defective). Your solution.

Hyundai getz 1.1

Hi,
Wow...good one, need to know what model and year also I strongly suggest you buy a diagnostic tool (around 50$ in Canada at Canadian Tire) which you can just plug in a connector in you car (under dash on driver side..easy..) especially if you are into used car, not only it will save you money in the long run but you will have a good idea about where the problem is located and won`t get screwed around when you go to a garage for repairs....believe me!, I bought one and would not let it go!.

thks,
