SAAB 9000 ANTI LOCK WARNING
See www.saabservices.com and look for abs light link. Be sure you are on the correct page for cars with an accumulator.
I think the washer bottle is removed after taking out the inner fenderwell.

Saab 9000 lost power
The commmon thing is GROUND.
Probably the ground strap from the engine to the chassis is worn, broken, loose, corroded, or otherwise not making good ground.
Check the negative cable on the battery to see if the "pigtail" is disconnected.
Replace or install a ground strap from the engine to the chassis.
Do that first; otherwise, on the positive side, the inline 100Amp FuseLink may be blown.
Hope this helps!

My 1990 Saab will not stay started it keeps dying
it could be anything. fuel pump might be going bad, could be a short, could be alt. going out, could be a loose connection. check all wires from alt. and check wires going to the coil. start it, DON'T grab any wires coming out of the coil, but grab a wiring harness and jiggle it around. if it dies, its a short.

I have 2 stand up
You need to have someone check and see if vacuum is getting to the brake booster. If it is getting vacuum you will have to have the booster replaced.

Is it the fly wheel or the starter
If the starter is left in the engaged position ( trying to start the engine) the first thing to fail will be the pinion over-ride clutch and then the armature wires melt out and the starter is dead.. If it costs you a new starter motor that will be an expensive lesson for you to fix problems when they occur and not leave it for RON (lat-er -RON)
