Connected a 12V battery loader on my Porsche 911

The fuse is on the back of the unit. You need a becker radio tool puller to remove the radio. The tools are inserted into the small slots on the sides of the radio. (example tools: http://www.eagleday.com/porscheaudio.html) My first attempt at pulling a radio from a Boxster required about 20 minutes.

You will also need to reset your radio: http://www.a2dvoices.com/realitycheck/porsche

Charged/tried to hot start 2002 911 on wrong polarity terminal

Switches fail, seat motors fail,, fuses pop, if the misfire was diagnosed then do what your mechanic recommended to begin with.
Diagnosing the seat is as simple as checking to see if it has power and a ground. Power comes from a fuse. Check them all. You should have a legend on the cover.
Same thing with the radio. Check the fuses. If you want diagnostic procedures go to mitchell diy and pay the ten bucks.

1999 911 Porsche hood latch wont pull up to open fron hood

On the 996 and 997 there is a panel on the drivers side footwell that has a fuse panel and exposes a red positive terminal that pulls out slightly. You can connect the positive lead from a battery or charger to this terminal and the negative lead to a convenient ground spot like the door catch.

I removed the battery for the winter from my 996 and went through this process in the Spring when I realized my mistake.

Porsche 2002 carerra cab driver side window does

Obvious stuff. The key has to be in the ON position. Fuses should be located on left side near kick panel it might be third row all the way left side, 30 amp fuse. Will the window operate if you open the door a little? Maybe getting stuck in door seal. Top up or down it won't work?
After that you have to get in to the door and see if motor still good or if wiring is good.

Changing miles to km in porsche 996

There is a small lever on the steering wheel column, lower left side. Push it in to access the computer that displays under the RPM gauge. In the settings menu you can change all of your options. Just scroll through the list by lifting up or down and enter an option by pushing it toward the front of the car. Pulling toward you will exit out of the current menu and go back 1 step.

Hope that helps!

I have an annoying vibration-rattle in the back on

While I am not trully certain, it may be an exhaust heat shield. These, from time to time, may loose a weld and vibrate. Often a "tinny" type of noise. If the noise is more of a heavy thump or such this may be something mechanically loose.
I do hope this may have assisted you,
Tom
PS: Great car!
