If you look at the Windsheild arm , you should find it written AUTO , just flip to the regular set up

Do you have a car manuel in the glove box? It is in front of the passenger seat, under the dash.

Not sure if this is this answer, but I had a problem with a noise under the front end once....turned out to be the cowling under the front bumper....it was broken and it took a high speed to force it down enough to hit the road.

this is happening because once you shut it off you are sending an electronic signal to transmission and it resets itself once car starts back up as if something inside the ecm has been reprogrammed and erased alll over again. the ecm is your brain which controls your car. get a diagnostic scan ran on it ok?

THE PROBLEM IS ALMOST CERTAINLY THE AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROL BLEND DOOR MOTOR ACTUATOR IS INOPERABLE, TO REPLACE THIS PART U MUST REMVIVE THE ENTIRE DASH ASSY. IT IS ABOUT CENTER OF THE AIR DUCTING BEHIND THE DASH.

ALWAYS engage the Parking Brake BEFORE putting car into "Park". When you want to get out of "Park", put your foot on the brake pedal, move gear shifter into desired gear, THEN take down Parking Brake. If you get stuck (gear shifter doesn't move), then try the "rocking" method (recruit 1 or 2 folks to push your car from behind while you try to move gear shifter into desired gear). Good luck!

You need to take to Jaguar technician to have Mil lamp codes read and cured the restricted performance is the engine protecting itself as there is a fault in the management system,usually fuel system related,It has gone into "Limp Home" mode to try to limit the damage done untill the fault is cured

It may be that the system is airlocked, this can happen after work on the cooling system - if most of the water has been lost. If you think there is no damage to head gaskets or other seals between engine and coolant system or leaking hoses - try bleeding the system as you fill it by venting air from the top hoses when engine is cold (for safety).

Best thing is to take to a proffessional as it is not an easy task to do on your own , since there are calibrations and certain tests to be made for the rear cylinders

LEAVE THE CAP OFF AND START THE CAR, LET IT curculate FOR A FEW MINUETS THEN REPLACE THE CAP. YOU SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO.

u probally need to change the shift assmebly , i had a problem like this with my x-type , where as the key would not come out , it was because there is some kind of button down in the shifter that gets pressed when the car is pushed in park , so probaly something broke in ur shifter , and that button is not getttin pressed to release the key .

here is what you do. look on the passenger side front near the bottom of the radiator. there you will see the dccv or dual coolant control vavle. it will have your two heater hoses running to it and another hose from the radiator under it . once you have identified it , feel and look around it for any signs of leaking. barring any leaks, disconnect the connector, turn the ac/engine on and usining a tester , test for voltage on each of the three wires.if both outer wires have no current ( the middle wire yellow- will have current) then your problem is the control panel. if the control panel is not a navigation it is possible to easily repair it. replacing it can run from 600.00 to 1500.00 depending on who you goe to. oh by the way its still some data that you aint looked at. holla back if you need more help or a repair of the a/c control panel.

No but you need someone that can do a COMPLETE brake job. This means the rotors should be turned or machined to take out warps. You will hear all kinds of suggestions as to brake pads but I use a non-JAG pad but not ceramic. While ceramics have better stopping power they will also warp the disk faster and so you will not have as long lasting brake job

not a easy job takes experienced techs about 2.5 hrs book time. will need both belt tensoiner tools and drain coolant & remove expansion tank

no its not a flasher issue there is a spring in the control arm thats causing this to sound/ So what I am saying its the switch that may need to be replaced or the metal rod is bent in the steering column Believe me I now its sounds weird. Sorry Lisa this is one recall if this is a Jaguar XKR coupe if it is a convertible there are 8 , On the site its pretty easy read the about us and why I do this Basically its to help people get things done inexpensive or what kinds of Shops to go to where you can save up to 50 dollars an hr. I also follow through on the help to make sure everything was done and nothing more.

now rear toe control links ive never heard of. your saying you saw the smoke and smell the burning right not the dealer. how does the car drive overall? have you checked your oil level?

seems like your air con relay has gone bad. that what happened to my ford xr6. you need to take to car to air con technicians, since it is not user serviceable.
