I would assume It is a head gasket leak, maybe a cracked head. If it is pinkish and or foamy and you have an automatic transmission it is an emergency situation not that a head gasket is any picnic. It probably means that the transmission cooler built into the radiator is leaking high pressure trans fluid into radiator and could also draw radiator fluid into transmission. The result is transmission fluid condition referred to as a strawberry "milk shake". I wouldn't say what you think it is but take it around to a lot of shops... a lot don't know what it looks like. You can do more to diagnose this yourself if you want to do the research. but both are serious and can't be driven this way.

Hi Jennifer, I believe that it purely coincidence that this problem started when your dad drove the car. There is basically nothing he could have done to promote the problem. I believe the fault has something to do with the anti theft device becoming active. If you can manage to have the car diagnostically scanned and the key encodement re activated I'm thinking that will sort out the problem. Even if that is not the problem the diagnostic scan will pin point where the problem is. Regards John

Removal of the 10A BODY fuse in the instrument panel junction block will disable the front door lock switches and removal of the 20A LOCKS fuse will disable the unlock/lock relays. Make sure you can control manual locking and unlocking afterwards.

stick flat head screwdriver inbetween crank and interior of door, seperate and look carefully to see metal C clamp holding window crank on... remove that, usually using needle nose plyers or if you have a hook pick also works real well but thats a bit of a specialty tool. needle nose work but take patiance :) just grab ahold and pull, should not be hard to pull on, and make sure NOT to bend it, thats the only thing hold ing that on!

The PCM is not the problem in 98% of driveability (engine and transmission operation) related problems. So the answer is likely it will not fix the problem, whatever that may be, you never give a clue...
