I don't know how to change the fog/driving lights on Saab 900 '97

It's a bit harder on the 97 if you have a Talladega model. Reaching won't work. You have to half drop the lip bolted to the bottom of the bumper (this is part of what makes it a talladega). You'll need 7, 8, 10 mm sockets, a torx driver, a little luck. A lift helps tremendously as there are only a couple inches to work between car and ground. Drop the lip, then get in there and undo the bulb. Reverse

Is there a cabin filter?

Yes its under the plastic bulkhead panel that the windshield wipers protrude from . Fiddly to replace, since have to remove wipers to get cover off. Worth doing though. Pretty scary how much gunk they accumulate.

Distributor cap rotor remove

There is no screw. It is glued on . If you want to replace it due to damage or wear, it will necessitate cracking the lower side of the plastic with some large pliers, and then remove it. Replacements are available, but need to be glued again.

Chances are you have a short, usually a faulty wire. This can be a simple leakage from an insulation problem, or attachment that is loose. Tighten all fittings and remove any debris that cover the battery posts, especially corrosion. Check electronic connections at the starter. The starter can be tested outside the car for continuity and functionality.

Break hose leak

IF you have a leaking brake hose the only solution is to get a new hose from an accredited brake shop and replace it . Then bleed the brake system starting at the longest line and working back to the shortest. Brake hose perish through time and road grime so if there are any cracks appearing in the other hoses when you bend them a bit then it is time to consider a full hose replacement program. IF necessary then use an accredited brake shop as it will take less than hour for the job.

I have a 2001 Saab 9-3 convertible that has a problem with both of the rear side windows not working and also main swithch that controls front and back not working for two rear side windows. Both front

Bruce, ur best bet would be to replace the main control switch. change that switch and most likely all will be good. find urself a used main control (window) switch in the front or between front seats. buying used will be a hard find but still u will save money on that. I hope this work out for u.
