I have e a 1986 Saab 900s. I replaced the front calipers,rotors and pads at the same time. Now the ebrake won't engage. Lever on calipers move but brakes don't engage. What am I missing?

How can i disable the engine immobilizer and start the car on a Saab 900 convertable

no key needs a tow to a work shop cant pull out wires from ECU and immobilizer at random you end up with a bigger mess check fuel to injectors and spark to plugs then other sensors first

Key fob is the Smart Key with 3 buttons and no external key for 9-3 from 2003 on. It does have a blade-type key inside to use to open door in case of remote - central locking system not working.

Very sluggish at pulling away then picks up speed have cleaned the rgv

Never had a SAAB but in similar situation with my vehicles. I have found vacuum line damaged or bad connection, fuel filter, fuel pump and even air filter. Just my thought hope it provides some help.

How do you loosening the tensioner pully?

they are preset . if it is to tight replace it ,it has failed..the pulley itself will seize up next. use a ratchet to take off belt then remove tensioner.mudman1966
