Starting problems
faulty crank position sensor is likely. No pulse from sensor to ECU, no activation of fuel pump, no fuel no start. The insulation in the inductive coil of the sensor breaks , and the sensor fails with age.

check and test the coils and the points / ignition module. Check that the rotor button is not cracked . Check that the carbon button in the distributor cap is still spring loaded . Check that the HT wire to the distributor is operational
Starting problems
Hello David,
It sounds like by reading the second sentence that your problem began when you filled it up. Are you sure 100% that you put gas in your car and not diesel by accident? That would most certainly cause all your issues. Get a sample of the fuel from the carburetor or fuel line leading to it and verify that it is indeed gas. If it is diesel then you've got to purge /empty it all from the tank to the carb of the diesel fuel! This can be a very messy and possibly dangerous job especially while dealing with gas. Make sure you have lots of ventilation when doing this fuel swap if it applies. Good Luck!

Saab Ng 900 1995 difference of 50% on rear brakes
The low pads side indicate that the pads are dragging probably from the caliper not being free to move on the mounting pins. Possibly also that the piston in the other side is seized and there is no braking action on that side.
