How do you bleed the clutch on a 91 saab
The bleeder is on the "slave" cylinder down at the clutch. Attach a hose to the bleed valve and route it into an acceptable container. You should have a "loop" so that the fluid has to travel "up and over" to the container. Open the bleed valve and have someone press and HOLD the clutch pedal down. Then close the bleed valve and release the pedal slowly. You should do this about 3 times and then check the fluid level in the master cylinder(at the firewall). In the picture below the bleed valve is at the top with the nipple for attaching a hose:

Fuel pump crisis
If your getting power to the top of the pump at the harness and its not running, pull the pump back out and check the two power leads to the pump insert are connected. Jump power directly to the pump insert. If no go, looks like you got a defective pump.

1991 Saab 9000 cd
i am sure that you have heard this already but it is the first thing that comes to my mind. take a look at you drive shaft and ensure that it is still in working condition. it sounds like it has slipped out and that is causing the motor to run and the car not too. let me know if this helps you out at all.

Is it the fly wheel or the starter
If the starter is left in the engaged position ( trying to start the engine) the first thing to fail will be the pinion over-ride clutch and then the armature wires melt out and the starter is dead.. If it costs you a new starter motor that will be an expensive lesson for you to fix problems when they occur and not leave it for RON (lat-er -RON)
