have the cuts check by the dealership if the codes match the cuts made. I think since the car is older than ten years the wear inside the lock cylinder is too severe so that is why the new key will not work.

Yes, this is the most probable cause. But it could also signal that you lost all the oil thru a leak (i've seen cases in which the plug of the oil pan has fallen off). You should take your car directly to a shop, if the engine works even for a little time without oil it will be ruined.

How to install MISSING hood
Hood Cable Removal & Issues
Hood cable failures are common on the Saab cars. The
typical issue with the cable is that the end breaks off causing the
cable to no longer open the hood. In-order to open the hood when this
happens one must push a screwdriver between the hood and the grille and
push the hood release back in-order to release the latch.
Replacement
of the cable is the only cure.

I had the same thing happen. There is no manual release, which means you have to replace the fuse that is blown causing it to lock. It was the central lock fuse in my case. But as I was almost out of gas and at the gas station, I had to pry it open....Not the best thing but it worked.

Just a thought. How low was the tank when you filled up. I know alot of sediment builds up and have heard of similar problems. So I have made a habbit not to go below 1/4 tank to prevent from clogging the fuel system. That is what I would check. It sound like you have a good hold on the mechanical aspect. Verify your fuel inlet screen at the tank or the filter is not clogged. Only other thing I can reccomend after that is have a reputable shop do a systematic pressure check on the lines starting from the fuel source. Good luck.

Bent push rod
Check the compression on that cylinder and the adjacent cylinder. If it is not too difficult, it would be good to check all of the cylinders. If there is leakage on the adjacent cylinder there's your problem. The engine is getting pressure on number 8 when the lifter is in the wrong position at the bottom of travel and the pushrod can't help but to bend. If you have a warranty, have the valve springs on 8 checked for proper strength I.E (190 pounds). There should be specifications for this motor.
2003 saab 95 Aero - stalled...can't get it started
Fixed it myself. I checked power and ground on fuel pump, then w/rubber mallet I banged the fuel tank and the fuel pump went on for a few seconds while someone cranked car, it started for arou 20 -30 seconds. This helped me diagn. the problem and I put in a new fuel assembly.\

I cant start my car,
I had the same problem, it was solved be reprogramming the central locking system. This can usually only be done at a dealer.

Follow the top right large radiator hose to the block. The hose is attached to the thermostat housing which is bolted to the block. As you may suspect, the thermostat is located in the thermostat housing. Remove a couple of 10mm bolts and two 13mm bolts.

hi, your slave cylinder is not to hard to replace just be carefull with the tread at the fitting ,first disconect the line and then the screws that holds it ,be sure to install the little shaft back correctly, after you finish be sure to bleed the cilinder ,(carefull with the tread at the fitting)......
Saab 9-3 engine into 9-5
the engines are different model engines since they run off the computer im thinking that you need to set the computer to the 9.3 since the specs run the 9-5 at different frequency the enigine modules still think its a 9-5 in which you want the computer to run it at 9-3 this gives the high throttle reving
you need a laptop and your cars software to set the idle control for vehicle and possibily the proper idle control module for engine
