Possible water entry came from the rear cabrio area membranes under the roof drive units, which will allow for water entry into the cabin and will soak the floor. The alarm CU lives under the seat. Normally when they get wet, they have to be replaced. Sometimes your key remotes will also need to be replaced with the alarm CU. Also make sure that your front plenum drains, near your car battery, are clean of leaves and debris. PS; If water is entering from the rear roof membranes, don't do the rest of the work and NOT replace these, as this fault WILL happen again.
Tappet or lifter noise on startup for few seconds
This is likely due to inadequate oil pressure at the lifters - it's taking to long for the oil to get up there. Worn or misadjusted tappets will exacerbate the problem. There are some relatively simple things you can try before opening the engine. First, verify that you idle RPM is at spec; a slow idle on start may not turn the oil pump fast enough. Next, check for leaky seals, and check the oil pressure sensor to make sure it isn't leaking (a leak here will not only cause inaccurate readings, it will decrease oil pressure to the rest of the engine). Next, change the oil and check the bottom of the oil pan through the drain hole to make sure there isn't excessive sludge buildup - this can restrict flow through the oil pump intake. If there is a lot of sludge, you may want to consider removing the oil pan and cleaning it out and perhaps replacing or rebuilding the oil pump. For this oil change, use the lowest viscosity high-detergent oil recommended for your engine - you want to flush out any gunk in the oil galleys. Some people suggest using an engine cleaner additive, but I advise asking others with the same engine whether they have tried the product - I have heard a few horror stories of certain engine models that often throw a rod shortly after the chemicals are put in.One other thing - verify that your low oil pressure light is working. It should be on when you turn on the ignition but don't start the car, and should go out very soon after the engine starts normally in less than two seconds. (If it takes much longer than that, you do have an oil system problem.)

I would say that the actuator on the passenger door lock is bad, and tripping the sensor to the switch. I don't think the boot light has anything to do with the door locks. That, I think is another issue.

Porsche key fob
If the key had gone faulty, the key code must be re programmed on the vehicle computer. This can be done only using a PIWIS tool, available at the dealer or at a qualified Porche garage.
Try also the following reset:
turn ignition on,
turn off.
remove
the transponder from the column
push any button on the fob within 6
seconds.
This procedure will reset the key synchronizing again with the vehicle computer.
