Drive it around for abotu 5 mins. park on level ground. With the car running in park with the parking brake on pull the dipstick out wipe off the tip with a rag put it all the way back in then pull it out again and look for where the fluid has touched the dipstick. Fit 9x16

No you cannot fit 9x16 alloys on this particular model of carrera because the wheel arch is only 9x14. the 3.2 carrera RS model has a 10x17 wheel arch.

Do I need to get a voltage regulator coded?

A voltage regulator is just that. You need an auto electrician to diagnose the fault. It is a lot cheaper than the dealership. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me The Voltage Regular is part of the alternator, so it is not a smart module that phones home and asks questions. https://www.google.com/search?q=voltage+regulator+for+a+Porsche+Cayenne ..

Can my 1999 Porsche Boxster be converted to automatic?

It would be possible but You will need to literally tear the entire car apart to do it; parts, even out of the junk yard, will cost way more than the car is worth. And the Vin # would show manual trany try to explain that to insurance company, dealer, buyer. Probably not a good idea.

I have a 2002 Porsche 986, I cannot get trunk to open electronically. The car runs great, so its not the Battery, I've replaced the actuator & Switch but cannot get it to work.

My vehicle has a small button in the glovebox that locks out the electronic release, a sort of over ride. The model seems to have some known history. https://www.google.com/search?q=2002+Porsche+986+trunk+lock+button ...

Locked my keys in my 2006 Porsche Cayenne am having trouble getting car open at all, battery dead, keys inside, have used every lock out kit i could find and still nothing.

You can recharge the battery from underneath using a battery charger, red lead to the big wire on the starter and the black wire on a clean bolt or body part. What about your spare keys? They come with 2 or 3.Then once it is charged, use and inflatable airbag and open the door a little.https://www.google.com/search?q=porsche+cayenne+keys+locked+in+car..

Hi, having problems closing the rear tail gate on my Porsche Cayenne 2013. It opens up half way when I push the key, then to open fully it needs another push on the key. But to close it only goes down half way and won’t fully close. I have to manually push it down. Inside the car it’s showing a warning that the boot is still open. I’ve taken it to a local garage, he’s unable to communicate with the tailgate controller module. Anyone else come across this issue? Thanks in advance. Chris

I haven't come across the problem before but I am increasingly hearing of modern cars thinking for themselves (as they are designed to do), the trouble is they sometimes become disoriented and feeling they must try and behave normally they put 2 and 2 together and make five. Usually it is a case of automatic windows that are closed before they expect to be closed and think they have encountered an obstruction and so go into reverse. I think it needs dealer diagnostic equipment to reset these things...

Which would you rather own? A Porsche Taycan or a Tesla Model S?

Of the 2 I'd rather own the Taycan. When you look at the specs the Taycan is the faster one not only in a straight line but on the track. Engineering Explained did a great video on this (https://www.taycanevforum.com/threads/why-the-taycan-turbo-s-is-faster-than-the-tesla-model-s.1165/) It also comes with the Porsche pedigree, engineering, and dealer network. The Model S has a higher range but I'd bite the bullet for the Taycan.

2006 porsche cayenne with blower motor problems. I just went to the storeand on the way back, blower started working again. must be a loose fitting, you think

It is likely the blower motor is defective or the connector is burnt or the dash switch is defective, Also the blower motor brushes may just be worn out, when it stops hit the motor with a hammer handle and see if it starts, check all connectors for signs of overheating as well.
