The Transmission has a little
The po455 is an evap code usually caused by the gas cap leaking or not tight enough. The p1744 is a torque converter clutch engagement issue. My just be a bad solenoid but that is unlikely. The most likely cause is a worn tcc bypass sleeve and valve in the valve body of the transmission and/or a worn pump shaft and /or pump shaft seal. These are internal parts and will require special tools and knowledge to indetify and repair. If your car was in my shop with this code I would probaly recomend an overhaul if it had more than 80 thousand miles on it due to wear that will be in other areas that have not turned into a problem YET.Good Luck!
I just purchased a 2000

My 2000 Lincoln Continental surges
I will tell you that these cars have alot of ignition coil problems, it recomended that all coils be replaced, some people replace only the bad one and sometimes get lucky for a few months but then back in the shop to diagnose the same problem and replace a few more, i know they cost a little but iy worth not having to redo a job two or three times, i can almost bet you have a few bad coils that arc out at times, you would need a scan tool connected to computer to locate the bad coils, unless there are stored codes in the computer from when it misfires. go to an auto parts store and have them scan it to see if there are any codes, they will give you a readout, if the computer picked up the misfiring then it will list the cylinders and then you will know which coils to change , good luck, and have a good day,

If it has been determined that there is nothing wrong with any component of the starting circuit, there may be something wrong with the vehicles anti-theft system.
Where is the fuse for
There is one fuse but it covers many of the interior lights. Not sure if your having problems with them all. This fuse covers the door courtyesy lights as well reading lamps, storage bin lamps, glove box and a few other. If this may be what you're looking for it is in the power distribution box located in the engine campartment. It will be in the number 31 position (see diagram below) and it is a 15 amp fuse. I hope this was what you are looking for and that it helped. Good luck.
My 2000 Lincoln Continental has
depends what is causing it..... the low pressure could be head gasket is cracked damaged by that cylinder... crack in head etc.... more then likely something small not the whole engine.... could be piston, head, head gasket etc.... i wouldnt think it would be the whole engine needs to be replaced... hope this helps cheers
(1) why the interior lights
Does the lights stay on? If not, it is probably a security thing. As for the lock switch, your keyless entry may need reset. When you try to open the door, do you hear the motor kicking on?

Very common issues on all vehicles from
1985 on,that have an electric fuel pump in
the gas tank.
Not saying that is your problem, you have to
do some testing to confirm.
The fuel pumps either sieze up mechanically
or the armature wears out and you get the
on and off issues.
There are pressure and volume problems
as well.

Sometimes never thought of or diaganosed
by the pros, even to this day.
Tried to start car, battery ok, starter turns over
Might check to see if fuel pump needs to be reset. There is a reset in the trunk on the drivers side. Check all fuses. Listen if you can hear the fuel pump running when you turn the key to the RUN position, could be a bad fuel pump. Make sure you have gas, fuel gauge may not be working. Sounds like you have a fuel issue. Hope this helps, good luck.
