Install the camshaft sprockets onto the camshaft. Be sure to align the I mark with the intake camshaft dowel pin and the E mark with the exhaust camshaft dowel pin, then tighten the retaining bolt to 36-44 ft. lbs. (49-61 Nm).

Will crank but won't start no revs. Help! Just had fuel pump replaced, and have had new engine previous

How many miles do you have on the new engine? Did you install it yourself? Was it a long or short block install? Was the timing belt on the replacement engine new? Does the engine crank over faster than what would seem normal? If your engine has more than 80K miles on it, you may have a broken timing belt.

Changing gears is very stiff and

IF you have a cable connected gear shift and it is not moving smoothly then the insides of the outer cable will be worn out and the inner is frayed and jamming. Replace the entire cable unit.

Transmission

If it is a 5 speed manual, then you add Transmission oil under the car on the upper side of the transmission. Under the hood on fire wall side there is the speedometer cable. You must remove lock down bolt with # 10 socket and lift straight up. That is where you add/check your Transmission fluid on a 5 speed. Clean the area first and it's fairly simple.
The tube where the dipstick for the Automatic transmission is where you add the Transmission fluid. You will probably need one of those funnels with the really long neck, so that you can get the fluid into the tube without pouring it all over the place. Be careful that you don't overfill the transmission!

Good luck and hope this helps.
