Go to an Autozone, Advance,or Oreilys autoparts and they will scan to car for free and recommend corrective parts. If you need help understanding the Codes you can tell us what showed up. Or in getting the Code, you can price out a repair.

You have a series of issues.
All what is needed is to remove the plugs and the condition of the electrode will confirm if there is OIL smearing or a poor fuel setting. If there is oil then there is fault on the engine cyclinders or the oil rings.
If it is black then there is poor setting of fuel. However if it is burnt plug with clean surfaces then the firing is good.
So check on the ignition system, check on the fuel pump settings. The spark timing should be checked as also the intensity.
Finally you need to replace the soft engine mountings.

Car moves about 2 kilometeres and then e
If you have a "check engine" light on, take it to Autozone, Advance, or Oreilys for a free scan. One thing to try is borrow a fuel pressure test gauge from the above 3 places and when the car stalls turn the engine off, open the hood, and put the gauge on the fuelrail test port. You should have pressure. If you do not have pressure, then either the fuelpump is getting hot or the fuelpump relay is shutting down.If you do have fuel pressure, pull a sparkplug wire and see if the engine has spark by shorting the wire to a ground and have someone crank the engine.

Kia rio 2003 alternators burning up?
Check Alternator Voltage regulator if it fails it can send up to 18volts to the battery and make sure your battery is not too old usually most batterys will fail after around 2-3years causing the alternator to work harder . Also check your fuses someone may have put a wrong fuse somewhere. Don't buy a used alternator. Good luck.Student Mechanic LWIT Kirkland
