Fix the cigarette lighter in kia rio 2002
You need a wiring diagram for that component. I would chech both the engine and cabin fuse locations and check all fuses. Then check the lighter with a test light

2002 kia rio, where is the crankshaft position
A crankshaft position (CKP) sensor is mounted on
the front of transmission case adjacent to the flywheel. The CKP sensor
is a hall-effect type sensor that generates voltage using a sensor and a
target wheel mounted on the crankshaft. There are 58 slots and one
longer slot on the target wheel. When the slot in the wheel aligns with
the sensor, the sensor voltage output is low (approx. 0V). and it is
high (approx.5V) when a slot is not aligned with the sensor. During one
crankshaft rotation there are 58 rectangular signals and one longer
signal. The ECM calculates the frequency to compute engine rpm to
determine the injection duration and ignition timing. Using the signal
differences caused by the longer slot, ECM identifies which cylinder is
on top dead center
P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor Malfunction - Circuit A.
Hope helpes (remember rated this help).

Hear a clunk sound when trying to start
A clunk noise could be a couple of things. Your starter may be starting to go bad. If the flywheel or starter has broken a tooth on the gear, it will clunk. A loose starter, check the bolts. Good luck

Can't get alternator out of 2004 kia rio
Loosen pivot bolt and tensioner mounting bolt . Do not remove them.
Relieve tension on the drivebelt by rotating adjustment bolt .
Remove drive belt.Remove tensioner mounting bolt and belt tensioner.
then the Alternator will barely slide out. (hope your motor mounts are good :P)

Kia rio wont start
If it's an automatic gearbox vehicle, then check the operation of the gear selector switch within the selector mechanism. Most autobox vehicles will not start unless this switch sends a signal that the car is in either park or neutral.

2002 kia rio will not shift out of second gear in
First off have a load test done on the battery as there is a dead cell evident. Run fault codes and look for a problem TCM (transmission control module) which may be affected by the battery fault. Have a pressure test done on the transmission to check for internal problems. Check oil level when hot.
