they all do mostly before 200k miles hits. none stated. or abused vast ways.(owners putting in wrong ATF kills most) or tranny leaks bad at TC.?? happens, on many. what makes you think it did fail, internet lies? (LoL) from non tech point of view (but answered tech) no statement by you of all all 25 things or more a transmission can do good or bad. (all gears F and R dead., shifts wrong, Flares? PRNDL (what gear fails. here ? if does) causes: ALL (good and bad and ugly evidence matters, ALL) tech answers: causes. not scanning the PCM (tcm/tcu) is top cause of guessing wrong. some cars with engine DTC set for overheating can cause tranny to go to limp home mine a NAG1 goes to 2nd gear hard.MB BOX. see?> or the transmission temperature is too hot. or speed sensors fail or any solenoid in box(tranny) fails DTC. fuse blown. is first check , next time present real evidence, and ask what to do, besides take it to a shop and get it checked out. or is IT DEAD? be sad no to buy any new transmission if the bad part is $25 and easy to change out, or a 25cent fuse blew. or the barking up wrong tree thing, gee engine errors huge.. not noticed via the scan tool (the tools is free,) Innova or the newer, I Autel Maxicheck pro) $170 first time it saves a tow,labor in any shop it is now a free tool ,. econ101 ROI , a true investment class device, IMO, it is free. driving in town with only 1st gear working is NO JOY/ car will not move>?

#7 cylinder is the 3rd cylinder back on the drivers side you might have a bad coil thats what i would replace first unless when you take the coil out there is oil on it if so your valve cover gaskets are leaking you will need to fix that first

What I do is park the car uphill. Let it cool, open the cap, start it, and let it warm up until coolant flows in the radiator. Add coolant and let the air burp out until there is good flow with no bubbles coming up.

these cars suffer from one problem and that is the computer ,as the O2 sensor heaters run the earth back through a transistor switch in the ECU ,so what i do is run a seperate earth from O2 sensor heater side to chassis or engine this cures the fault so vehicles passes the emmisions but the engine light will stay on .on the O2 sensor are two white wires these are the heater wires ,one will read a positive but no earth continuety ,run a earth and it will work .

The chime usually goes with the door latch. What did you replace? You may have not got the electrical plug seated or a lead has pushed out.

You can use one of the plugs that go into the power point/cigarette lighter. Cut the end off add wire to reach a good 12 volt battery. Plug it in. This should give you power to open the boot with the switch.

Bad sensor

u can install a disconnect but when u disconnect the power it clears all settings in vehicle such as radio will have to enter code so anti-theft lock out doesnt occur or have to reset from loc to normal -memory seats -emissions reset which means that problems for inspection if vehicle doesnt cycle thru before one is done -have battery and alternator tested most auto stores do this for free -- if problem only happens during rain check connections around battery/alternator/and fuses for loose or connections that are getting wet

Hi there my name is Brandon Im a electronic n mechanical engineering technician Im not a regular mechanic I fix what regular mechanic cant or don't know what is wrong but I will be more than happy to help you out I need more information to be able to be 100percent but I will bet you that you have a blown head gasket that asnt blown all the way or it could be a creak some were!!! Pull the oil plug n drain the oil in to a super clean dish n tell me what it looks like I am going to give you my personal email address n I want you to send me the pics of what it looks like but how much water are you losen n how much running can you do before you have to fill again I will also tell you a way you can check for a hole anywhere!!! Is warm water dish soap in a spray bottle n just becarefull only spray the Rad.... stuff be sure that you don't just go crazy with the water it has to have a full Rad.... n the car is on n running n is at running temperature

BTW please not to sound rude bout it but I need the make, model, year and motor when you email me its so I can help you better bc I work on everything that got wheels lol!!!! N please if you need anything else like help with testing or have ?s ,bout anything!!! I been ask allot of crazy things B-)

You need to contact the dealer on this, we have no wiring diagrams available.

Did this just happen and was it working previously?

Start by checking the fuses

Bank 2 sensor 1 (O2)

Radio codes are normally dependent upon the serial number of the radio. You obtain the serial number off the radio and contact the dealer and they can give you the code once you verify that you are indeed the proper owner of the radio.
