Mass airflow (MAF) or associated wiring
These should NOT be cleaned. They cannot be repaired, Just disconnect negative battery cable, unplug maf sensor and replace it with the new one. Just need flat head screwdriver.
Need to remove radiator
YOU NEED TO DRAIN RADIATOR AND ENGINE BLOCK.NEED TO DRAIN THE BOTTOM WATER PIPE.DISCONNECT THE TOP AND BOTTOM WATER HOSES.SEPERATE THE UPPER FROM THE LOWER RADIATOR SHROUD AND REMOVE THE UPPER SHROUD FROM THE CAR.REMOVE THE CROSSMEMBER AND HEADER TANK.REMOVE THE CONTROL ROD FROM THE DRAIN TAP.REMOVE THE LOWER MOUNTING SCREWS AND RUBBER MOUNTING CUSHIONS.THEN LIFT OUT THE RADIATOR.IF CAR HAS AIR CONDITIONER YOU NEED TO DETACH THE CONDENSOR FROM ITS MOUNTING BRACKETS DONT DISCONNECT ANY CONDENSOR REFRIGERANT LINES. YOU NEED TO SUPPORT CONDENSOR WITH SOME WIRE TO KEEP IT FROM FALLING BEING DAMAGED.
I recently bought a cherry
There is a black plastice tube that run from the gas filler drain, through the trunk to the bottom. It drains water caught around the fuel filler. Without it your trunk will get wet when it rains. Ther eis a spring with a plastic insert that sticks up through the gas filler boot, and the plastic hose connect to that, although it can get pushed down and out and may have fallen through the trunk as well. There is a spring clamp to hold it to the rubber boot but it could have gotten torn away.
For fuel pump relay which
I had a burnt connector (twice) between the relay in the trunk and the fuel pump. Had to bypass the ground lead and take it straight to ground. Then the battery side burnt out and had to replace both connectors with male/female spade connectors.
Where is the air termistor in jaguar xj6 1993
At the bottom of the passenger side kick panel. Sometimes the little fan inside gets gummed up with dust and cannot pull in air to the sensor. Just blow it out and see it it starts spinning again.
