there are 2 relays. main relay and EFI relay locate in fuse block engine compartmet

probably has a seal problem on the firewall or vent.

Do you have any obd2 scanner ? you can use them to check the engine system.

If your going to ask a question provide some infoWould be nice if you or a shop actually worked on the car to find a problem & a solution to itHow about an Exhaust Converter that has been on there15 years or more & is blocking the exhaust out.

there was mod to sort this out way back, the air flow connector plug was prone to corrosion a repair kit was used to fit a new connector with gold plated contacts but check the wiring back to ecu or try retensioning the connector female contacts with a small watchmakers screwdriver or similar and apply contact grease, or you may have air leak after the air flow meter hope this helps.

the battery may be under the bonnet on lh side if it is not in boot or do you mean you cant open boot and battery is in there iif so look nder bonnet for main battery power cable heavy cable with rubber cover over on rh side i think you can jump start or charge battery from that point

Possibly the starter solenoid mounted on the starter. When it won't start, you could check for power at that small solenoid wire on the starter while the key is held in crank or start position. If you have power then and there, the solenoid should be replaced. If no power on that wire when key is held in start, it is somewhere else in the start circuit, like the neutral safety switch, or clutch switch if manual, or the starter relay or the wiring associated with it.

change ignition switch. find a ignition switch that capable to your installation.

Same car as mine with the battery in the boot ,disconnect the battery and use a 3/8th socket with a couple of extra extensions and a universal knuckle ,no problem shouldnt take more than half hour to get off .

switches inside doors are sticking wd-40 works just spray alot on and they will come free

If yours is a 4ltr the total capacity should be 8 ltrs this is the same for the 2.9ltr, 3.2 & 3.6 ltr, but the 3.4 & 4.2ltr take 8.2 or 8.8 ltrs , hope this helps
