2004 Hyundai Elantra problems after replacing alternator
Sound to me like some wires were either disturbed or crossed and are shorting out maybe when you replaced the alternator?Maybe have a look at the alternator connections again and make sure everything is correct and tight and that the new alternator is the right one for your car.Other than that its a case of tracing the wires from the alternator to the fusebox to find whats blowing your fuse.

I would be checking the throwout bearing. But, if the clutch isn't slipping, maybe leave it for now?
If you put it in 5th gear, let out the clutch with handbrake applied and it stalls--the clutch isn't slipping for sure.
Why can't I turn the key?
Possibly the steering wheel is turned, jamming the wheel lock in position. Try turning the wheel to either side while trying to turn the key.
I have a problem with cold air from heat vents.
The bypass valve may be stuck open. Try working it manually to see if it is sticking . Valves are usually vacuum or electric . If vacuum actuated, check vacuum lines for cracks or holes. If electric, make sure wiring is intact and properly connected. You may be able to disconnect acuator and manually open valve. Valve may need to be replaced also.
