Flat battery cannot open bonnet and emergency release not working

The battery is so dead that you will need to leave jumper cables on for about 10 minutes, make sure you have a good connection, if you connect to your car last then you will see a spark , this will tell you the connection is good, make sure the jumper cables are good, wiggle the clamp on all connections and let the jumper car run with the idle up and held there for a few minutes then release the gas pedal and allow car to idle for 10 minutes then try to enter your car.

Need to find a diagram and instructions to replace or service the convertible motor for my 2001 996 cab

Your best bet will be to go to eBay and type in your model & year, or just porsche & year to see exactly what's available there. I saw many manuals on DVD listed for that make.I purchased Nissan, MINI, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Toyota and a few other DVD's that contain the complete shop manual. These manufacturers don't make the materials readily available as a rule, so this may shorten your hunt and be more affordable than buying the paper service manual. Here's a link to paper manuals.http://www.themotorbookstore.com/porsche.htmlGood luck!

Porsche carrera 4s,windows are both up,battery is disconnected, can't get the trunk open!

Behind the passenger side wheel covers, up towards the front bumper, is a stainless steel braided cable with a loop. Pull this to manually open the trunk. It is well hidden and an emergency solution to opening the trunk if the servo has failed, your fuse box power connection fails, or you have no power. Good luck

Porsche PCM Radio & CD Changer Fault.

paul it really sounds as if that dealer is trying to stroke u....my suggestion would to call porshe and find out who the district manager or manager of the stores in ur city or even county and tell him or her of ur problem... and how u feel about this problem.. and ask why a car would be returned to u in worse condition than when u took it there... its very possible that the change of the battery wasnt done correctly and may have blown ur ecu... id get in contact with the district service manager (dsm) as soon as possible..u paid alot of money for this car and for its service.. and should be entitled to quality work performance..
