Did you check for spark? Fuel delivery? Both are critical for the running of the engine. Check out fuel filter, pump, igniter(s), crank sensor, ecm, air filter, associated fuses, ................

First- to drain ,you can reach the drain valve,from the pass side,if you lay on the ground and reach up to the radiator. You do not even have to raise the vehicle up
Second- mix Yellow GO5 Coolant about 50/50 or 60/40. Do not use Green in a Ford or Orange GM
To Fill- Remove the front two plastic screw type buttons,from the engine cover
-Remove the cover
The radiator cap is on the front of engine,on top,it is plastic
Remove cap and that is your fill point
Run engine to warm and get thermostat open,as you would with any vehicle
Top off coolant,replace cap
VERY IMPORTANT-next to the Power Brake Booster,and just under it,is a BLEEDER HOSE;to let air out of system. Turn screw slot ,only a little,DO NOT REMOVE SCREW. When coolant runs out close.
Fill-Degas Bottle,to full line,with coolant.
Check the next couple days on resevoir level ( Degas Bottle)

Hi Taylor,I have a 2004 Lincoln LS,what seems to be your problem,I have my owners manual in the glove box,what do you need to know.

Use pressure gauge to test for correct fuel pressure and delivery.

1. The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 )

THE RADIATOR HAS A TAP/PLUG ON THE LOWER RADIATOR.

sounds like a cambelt failure or an engine sizure. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO START IT THAT MAY CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE. you need to let a decent mechanic see it make sure the gears are in neutral and that nobody else gets your keys to 'have a look' Good Luck

if ur winshield washer fluid is low wipers wont run, check fluid if full then other issues

replace coolant container. drain the cooler line. even better replace the coolant lines with fresh one

follow upper hose to a metal dome shaped housing. remove bolts. observe the old thermostat and compare to the new one and insert the new one correctly. be sure to clean the mating surfaces and use a new gasket

Hi Nancy: The first thing that I would be suspicious of would be the starter. What happens when you try to start the car? Does the starter turn over? Is there a clicking noise? Did the car run fine after starting with the grinding noise? If it did, then the grinding was probably associated with the starter. If you pull the starter and the little gear on the pointy end is all chewed up you'll be on your way to solving the problem. If you're lucky, a rebuilt starter will probably be most cost effective and hopefully (usually) the ring gear will be OK. Hope this helps.

cylinder #3 about an inch inside the intake, you have to pull manifold to get to it.

Hi Tommy: I'm not quite sure why you would want to do this as you won't have any defog/defrost function for your windshield. As a temporary measure, you can do the bypass by finding the hoses that go into the heater. You can disconnect them and plug them, disconnect them and connect them together, or disconnect them, then remove one of them from and loop the other to where the removed one was connected. Any of these will work as a temporary emergency fix that will get you home or give you time to get a new core. SAFETY FIRST!!! Engine coolant can be HOT and it is sometimes under PRESSURE. Only work on this when the engine is cold, and loosen the radiator cap to make sure there is no pressure before you start.

fix the hose and head over to your local autozone or advanced automotive and have them scan your computer for problems, they do that service for free

02 sensor fault as a starting point, needs plugging into diagnostics to check for possible fault codes

The Neutral safety switch is on the side of the transmission. It allows the car to be started in park and neutral along with activating the backup lights at the designated time.

Thermostat is stuck. Not sure about the added antifreeze, but might be good idea to flush system while changing thermostat.

There should be a little door on the lower left near the steering wheel. It should have a little lip there. Just pull carefully and it should come off.

Agree with Ray but would like to add that as the gas bleeds off the pressure drops and the gas in the line which is in a hot engine compartment turns to vapor in the line and that means you have to get the pressure back up before you have liquid gas to start the engine. Will firestone put a pressure guage on the fuel system to check if the new pump has a faulty check valve to check Ray and my answer.
