My radiator hose popped off today iput it on and my car still over heats

You may have an air pocket with no fluid. This would cause over heating. If you have a recovery tank, it is better to add fluid thru there and not directly in radiator neck.

Hi Eric, I'm glad to help! Eric, you'll need to check power and ground at the CD Player Connector. If it has both power and ground then you need a new CD Player. If it doesn't have either power or ground, which ever one it deosn't have you'll need to find out where it gets it power from OR where it gets its ground from and repair it. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Eric.

Check engine light flashing car missing badly

A flashing check engine light is generally for a really bad, active misfire that is causing unburned fuel to go into the Catalytic Convertor. Without a code, I cant really point you in the proper direction to fix it. I would recommend getting it professionally looked at very soon, or if you or a buddy know how to work on an engine, go to one of your local auto parts stores and have the code pulled for free to at least give you a decent idea of where to go. Given that you are driving a Gen I LS (I am assuming the 3.9L V8) coils and plugs are probably the most likely culprit (and possibly valve cover gaskets). There is also the possibility that the plastic tensioner for the timing chain has broken, causing the timing to go bad.

2001 lincoln ls engine coolant piping

To find coolant leaks use a radiator pressure tester as leaks sometimes appear to be from a point but in fact are from somewhere else. As to the smoke check the condition of the drive belt and the tension of the belt.

Where is the cabin air filter located for the air

Instructions To Replace Cabin Air Filter 2001 LS Things You'll Need
  • Pliers Screwdriver Clean damp cloth Handheld vacuum
    • 1

Locate the cabin air filter container on your Lincoln LS. Looking at the engine from the front, you will find the casing on the left side against the back firewall. The cabin air filter is mounted vertically and is approximately 6 by 9 inches and about 2 inches deep.

    • 2

Remove the cowling cover by pushing in the black cover pins and lightly prying the cover off with a screwdriver. Lift the filter out of the container.

    • 3

Vacuum the inside of the container to remove any dust or debris. Wipe down the inside and outside of the container and lid with a clean damp cloth, then dry it off completely.

    • 4

Insert the new cabin air filter into the container and check to make sure it is seated properly. Cover the container by putting the lid back on and gently pushing down to make sure the pins click into place.
