remove the j gate surround and centre console check the j gate sound like the selector lever pin has come disengaged with the mechanism you can see if you look when you go from manual 432 how it can get out of line and give you that good luck

fuse box under bonnet

you need to find someone with diagnostic equipment to retrieve the last alarm data out of the security and locking module to be sure where the problem is. the common probs are door latch switches or boot switches ie . broken wires around boot hinges.or bonnet switch..or the internal space sensors are set to sensitive, hope this helps.

do you mean xk8? if so there is a B+ post under the bonnet rh has you sit in car. if it is rh drive it is on the plastic housing that contains the brake master cylinder, there is also a key slot in the rh boot badge for key access but that normally siezes up because it is rarely used. try putting some wd40 in it and keep trying to get it to work. note it will not work with the green valet key, only the black key. good luck.

transmisson control module tcm location depends on gearbox fitted, under plastic cover lh under rear of bonnet with engine control module ecm,tamper proof screws!, or inside gearbox if the box has plastic sump pan

i think your gauge is not working,maybe the hand stock up..replace it or check your gauge with an expert to your car dealer

My response is still the same.

Turn the front wheels all the way to the right to replace the left light. There is a cover at the front of the wheel well. You have to remove the panel which is situated in front of the front wheel, inside the wheel arch, this will give you access to the lower bulb. Maybe found it easier to take the headlight unit out completely and replace the bulbs on the bench.To remove the unit you undo the two screws on the top of the light and loosen the screw through the panel in the wheel arch and the headlight will slide forward and out.

To take off the bulbs, after to remove the cover, there is a "cap" that is basically the back of the headlight. Unscrew the cap... you are at the back of the bulb. It is held in place by a metal retaining clip. Remove the retaining clip, unplug the bulb, replace the bulb, replace the retaining clip, screw the cap back on and replace the wheel well cover.

I had the bracket upside down was the problem and now is attached properly

disconnect the battery behind the steering wheel you will find two recessed screws usually a phillips head unscrew them pull the air bag out of the cradle unplug it. reverse the process make sure that you dont pinch the wires putting the new bag in replace the screws reconnect your battery start your car from the passenger seat the first 2-4 times to make sure that the new bag dosent malfunction. happy motoring.

What did you do? hammer the pads in? It appesrs the pistons are not retracted fully . Open the bleeder screws on both calipers and force the pistons back real slow. then close the bleeders.. open the master cylinder while doing this but leave lid over the fluid so you don't get it all over. Hi I'm litoshop if your getting a knocking noise and it's coming from the bottom of the engine then you have a serious problem you may need to over haul the engine the more you drive it the more chance you have in breaking the engine my suggestion is not to drive it get it to a mechanic sorry bad news but your in time to salvage your original engine good luck. if this information has been helpful please let us know thank you

13mm socket in between intake tubes on right side of motor(pass side) very easy.

1. roll drivers window all the way down and hold it till it clicks.now roll it up all the way and hold it till it clicks. 2. do same with passenger window. now your windows should work properly. good luck.

Hello I do not think that there is any thing to worry about as long as you have no leak. But if it happens again , you might want to check the steering pump , as it could be going bad and starting to get stuck
