How to disconnect alarm on s type jag? When trying to start car the alarm starts and kills the engine

if you look under the dash to the left of the brake pedal... you should see your fuse panel... above the there should be a black or gray box w/ two sets of wires coming from it ... both sets of wires have inline fuses... try pulling out either of those fuses one at a time , ie. pull one fuse try to start the car if the alarm still goes off replace that fuse and try the other one... this should disable the alarm on your car.

I have a 2000 Jaguar S type 3.0 and it runs and drives great. When I come to a stop the cars idle jumps up and down between 500 -1000 rpms and it dies. Any idea as to what is going on?

Check to see if the throttle plate/bore is dirty/coked up. If it is , it can cause minimum airflow to be off and the idle to surge. The throttle plate/bore can be cleaned with carb spray. If all is clean you may have an idle air control motor problem/vacuum leak causing this issue

I have a 2000 jaguar s type and my car runs good but every once in a while at a stop light it just shuts off. The check engine light comes on sometimes? Any idea as to why the car just dies.

Likely, it is fuel contamination caused by use of ethanol blend fuels over time. I'd recommend replacing all fuel in the system with new (preferably non-ethanol fuel if available). If you must use ethanol blend fuel, add WATER REMOVER additive monthly. Also, replace the fuel filter and check the operation of the fuel pressure regulator.

Heating and cooling system will not turn on

Well that's not a lot to go off of, but I am going to recommend you find a heating and cooling expert in your area to take a look at it. To begin your search for a contractor in your area ask your friends and neighbors for recommendation. After that you need to make sure you go with a company that has all the needed licensing and training. Good luck and I hope you can get it up and running before the weather starts to get cold. http://www.allianceheatingandcoolingllc.com/

I have a 2000 Jaguar s-type, and my battery died, but I can only find my valet key are there any other options to getting in the trunk? please help.

Open the door and remove the fuse box cover at the bottem of the A post. You might have to remove more of the plastic trim and take a positive lead from a battery to the red stud and take the black earth to the body this will power the boot.
