Saab 95 front brakes not releasing and remaining
the rubber coated flexable lines have a plastic tube inside and with age they come apart.
when you step on the brakes the fluid will go thru them because of the pressure but there is very little pressure for it to return and most anything can stop the fluid from getting thru to release the brakes.
only other thing it could be is a bad mastercylinder
Aluminum rim is corroded to hub. I can't remove.
they can only jam on the centre ,so make sure the vehicle is well supported and cant fall on you, spray some lube on it, grab the wheel and work it back and forward up and down. I know you have probably tried this, but should loosen it.
The next advise is a little more extreme and not generally recommended....Only you can decided if you want to try this.
put the wheel nuts\bolts back in and leave them 1 -2 thread out, lower the car onto the wheel and work the steering left and right. or leave the nuts loose the 1-2 turns and slowly drive a few metres back and forward, just dont head out on the highway and use common sense. These actions wil put a lot more pressure on the hub than you can by hand, so it should loosen.
Cost to replace fuel pump 2002 saab 95
The dealer will replace the entire unit, $500+. If you are good with tools, you can remove and replace the internal pump for about $50-$100. Need to remove the locking ring first (hardest part, may need a tool or make one) and then be careful with plastic L s. Remove the unit, replace and internal pump and put back. Make sure to disconnect battery while working on it. More details on the net.
The drivers side headlight on my 2002 Saab won't
This is probably a problem with the orange headlight relay under the hood in the relay black box. Take the relay out and clean contacts and put back in. If does not fix, try a new relay or swap with another 9-5 to troubleshoot.
Turbo throttles when idle
You mean the engine speed? This is not good. have not heard of this before. Take it back to who did the engine work.
How to fix linkage in 2002 9-3 turbo. Car does not
Assuming this is an Manual, there is an adjustment next to the firewall in the engine compartment. You have to lock the transmission with an object like an ellen on the top of the transmission and then with a very long extension and 13mm socket, loosen the bolt near the fire wall and make very small adjustments to the shifter and then tight the bolt again to see how it goes. This is a trial and error method to get shifter realigned. Once done, remove the ellen from the locking hold in the top of the transmission (and when testing shifting).
I have 2001 saab 95 2000. with 95000 miles. the
If I4 probably the timing chain and or the top end of the engine is going. Need to have it looked at ASAP. If V6 also not good. Mechanic ASAP. Could be noisy accessory like water pump, alternator, etc. Have mechanic take the outside belt off and run the engine and see if noise is still there. If so, engine, if not, accessory.
On my 2002 Saab 9-5
Hello. You will have to check each of the hot wires in the overhead panel to see which if any are controlled by the key. If you do not have one, you will have to run a new wire. If you do not have the equipment and or knowhow to do this safely go to an auto electric shop. They specialize in this kind of thing, have the tools and the supplies on hand and know exactly how to do it. J.
2002 Saab 9-5 Aero won't start when hot
this engine is controlled by a computer, when a problem like this occurs a fault code is set, I suspect you have a loss of ignition spark going on here, have the system tested for the code(s) that is set when the part that is causing this stall fails, this fault code test is crucial to making an accurate diagnosis and repair and is always the 1st step in this type of problem, many parts stores run the OBD2 engine control system test for free, Kragen and Autozone do this as well as many others, have the test ryun and provide the fault code(s) and we will move on, otherwise this is all a guess with you buying th parts.
Air coming out the wrong way
The lever that activates the drum that directs the air flow has broken. There is a modification that can be done to the actuator lever. The parts are available from the saab dealer (plastic), or from several online sources (metal). If you Google this repair (95 climate control repair), you will find several sources for parts and instructions. In most cases, if you remove the under dash panel on the drivers side and a small white plastic piece falls out, this is the most likely source of the problem. You should also here a motor running for a long period of time when the air outlet source is selected.

Blown turbo
good question but nearly impossible to answer simply
the short answer would be yes, because you will never receive a return on any investment for a NEW car/truck
However, that being said, most people do not use a vehicle as an investment
Therefore, I always advise my customers that if there vehicle has been good up to now and that they really like it, AND you will receive a warranty for the new engine AND it is installed by a shop that will stand behind that warranty AND you don't live in the rust belt states then.... YES
But the strongest argument made on this question is one on safety.
Think about how many new safety devices are now on a new vehicle, like active cruise control, multiple air bags including side curtain bags, plus ABS and traction control.
Since your vehicle is a 2002 you are in the cross section...newer and safer than the 90's but no where near a 2010
anything else I can help please let me know
My saab 9.5 starts but doesnt run the engine!
The pump comes as a complete unit from autozone for about $470. You should be able to gain acess under the rear seat to replace the pump. What you can do is remove the rear seat(making sure there is in fact an acess panel) and the trun the key adn see if you can hear the feul pump prime the system. If not, turn the key again and "smack" the pump assembly and see if it kicks on. If it does, replace it. If not it would be a good idea to get someone to jump it with the harness disconnected and see if it comes on or you can take a chance and replace it. It could fix it.
