Squealing noise when accelerating for

Try spraying some "anti-squeal" (in an aerosol from any parts supply shop) onto the serpentine belt. If the noise stops you have identified the source. Also lube the spring-loaded device that tensions the belt.

On a 2005 range rover hse my air suspension is down in the light on the knob is out want come on what to do

Unfortunately there could be several reasons for the failure, including a defective air spring, loose or broken connecting tube, but more likely the pump or the ECU. This is NOT a job to tackle yourself unless you have the experience. You need to get the vehicle to a specialist Land Rover shop (NOT a dealer) and have the system checked by someone familiar with these problems

We have very recently bought

Hello, Lamnats491 - If you purchased the 2002 Range Rover from an individual seller, and it was advertised "as is" or you did not have it inspected by an auto mechanic prior to completing the purchase, you may be stuck with paying to have the oil leak repaired. You still may wish to contact the seller, explain the situation, and ask him/her to pay for all or part of the repair. If you purchased the Range Rover from an automobile dealer (a used car dealer or a new/used car dealer), contact the dealer and explain the oil leak situation. Most reputable dealers will have the problem fixed at their expense. If the dealer does not do that, they you know never to buy from that dealer again and you can post your comments on one or more of the many review websites, giving the dealer a negative review. Bottom line: The oil leak needs to be repaired . . . and soon.

Wipers will not turn off

I'm not familiar with your model, but I agree from reviewing the diagram that the problem, is most likely the relay. It is a double relay in the middle of the diagram at the link below. http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/Wd/DownloadPdf?id=106410 . Not sure where it is, but they are usually close to the fuse.

How do i replace the timing chain on a 2005 range rover

If this is on a V8 with the BMW M62 engine, it is a major operation best done by BMW mechanics. Special tools are required to locate the camshaft and the VANOS system. It will not be cheap!

I have a range rover P38 1998 with a dogy fuse box positive battery connection bolt whichh needs replacing the whole fuse box. How can i tell if it is a Bosh or whatever. Cheers Greg

Open the bonnet. If the inlet manifold is the "bunch of snakes", it is Bosch Motronics. If it's a sort of triangular shape with 4.0 or 4.6 embossed in the top rear, it is GEMS.

Can anyone help i have a 98 range rover 4ltr leaking oil from the oil filter seal or houseing it's hard to tell but have tryed 2 new filters and have looked at the houseing it looks fine but stil

Either the oil leak isn't from the filter seal and is somewhere nearby or the oil pressure is unnaturally high, perhaps because the oil pressure relief valve is stuck closed.
